Well, you are probably kinder than me Doc. If someone here that knows the facts about what he has done and still chooses to associate themselves with him, they are no better than he is in my book.

First, I would never give 200 or 500 dollars to invest in something or someone without knowing all the details.

Second, if I was invloved in the side skirt issue I would slap a lawsuit on Dan Roots. It would cost me more money and time to fight this but I would drag him through the dirt and make him pay the legal fees on top of what he stole. Technically this guy could be arrested and charges filed due to the amount of money in question. I would actually have the whole thing investigated to find out if there were others involved.

I remember watching this thread. I thought the side skirt was great and wanted one.

I know Doc... I feel your pain. The bright side is it could have been worse. Everyone still has their health and could have lost more money. Just don't put threats on the internet. It feels great to express your anger. But God forbid this Dan Roots ends up dead in a gutter somewhere (knowing his reputation that is highly possible) you don't want to become the first suspect. You of all people should know that

It is always wonderful and enlightening to have a backseat driver come in after the fact and tell everyone how stupid they were. I am sure that they feel so much better now that you told them that. If you felt it was a scam, whey didn't you speak up before people invested their money. I did not see any helpful posts from you back then. I have on a few occasions recently called people out that I felt were possibly trying to scam others. It does no good to brag about your investigative knowledge after the fact. What could you have possible wanted to accomplish by that post other than some sort of self satisfying gratification.

I will worry about me....his local police dept checked him out, and he was reported to IRS about his shady dealings, just saying, if he would be dumb enough to attend a XF function I am at, I will take his con artist head off...period...I dispise people who pretend to be someone else to capitolize on an idea just to profit themselves...if you had read the thread correctly, I would have had to sue Rudy and Jonny, not Dan the crook....he took advantage of them...it was their trust he gained and took advantage of, but I would love to even the score for them...but California law or lack of it, protects him as well as ebay did...so I don't deal on ebay anymore...they are just as crooked for not banning him...he commited fraud in our eyes, but not enough in CA....now I am done with this thread as much as I am done with Root...need to move on....everyone learned a lesson here...don't trust anyone who has to pretend to be someone else...and that points to others on here as well...who like to play games....

Is your SRT-6 colored Aero blue? If so I have an outdated set of thin aluminum one's painted Aero Blue that contour's to the headlight's shape you can have. I just replaced them with 1/4" thick front leading edge,45 degree angled sculptured aluminum that's thinned down in the back. My new one's curve just missing the park light. No picture but I'll be at the Dragon. Just finished one fiberglass sideskirt and hoping I'll get the other side completed and painted before the Dragon. And they FIT!!!! No Screws!!!!
