That link is only for the outer piece of the handle. It does not include the main handle piece that you need. I am telling you this from experience. I ordered it from this website hoping to get the entire handle (as a spare in case mine broke again) and I was dissapointed when I only got the over cover in the mail.

As for your speaker surrounds... it takes some time but you will eventually get them. I ordered many parts from this site before and it could take a couple weeks.

Musclefan21, I know it can be frustrating, but try to not let it get you down. Seems like something that you can rectify fairly easily an inexpensively. In the grand scheme of things, you have a head-turning car in what is arguably the most beautiful color. It seems like the person that owned the car before you was really in to cosmetic modifications, and most of them were spot on. Good luck with finding the parts you need and getting her put back together.

Thanks a lot guys!! I will punch myself in the nuts tomorrow if i find out that before they did that job, they made sure to NOT use those screws for future references. But i would be happy because that means i could get the speaker installations done and find somebody to re-wrap that area for me or i do it somehow. (i didnt touch the passenger side)

I took tomorrow and the day after off to get this car taken care of. After I am done with the sound system, I will be a lot happier with her.

Good luck with everything, let us know how it turns out. If I were you, I would simply return the silver rings for the speaker surrounds and order the entire interior door panels that were listed from LKQ above. You will have everything complete and done correctly with not too much out of pocket.

Is there any way you can talk to the people where the car was purchased and explain to them it is not right and see what they will do, probably nothing, but maybe worth a shot.

Have you tried to remove the door panel and skip removing the door pull/handle step? If it is a solid wood dowel, and there are no screws that you can find, I would think that they screwed the ends of the dowel from the inside of the door panel. This way you could remove the door panel without worrying with removing the handle. Of course this is just a thought, but if I was to put a wooden dowel as a handle, that is what I would do.

If you do remove the door panel you should disconnect the the battery to prevent the side airbag from accidentally deploying.

Installed the door speakers. yep, screws weren't attached. I will go punch myself in the nuts while you guys are getting ready to laugh at me... I found somebody to re-wrap that handle by the way. I will move on to woofers as soon as i get a chance..

Well, i hated every second of this job. the worst part of it was i was all done, got into my car to listen it which sounded AMAZING. I don't think i need woofers lol. And, i wanted to get out of the car but the door wouldn't open and yes, i did attach the metal hook to the door handle before i put the panel on. to figure that out lasted more than the actual job. I finally figured it out and put it back on. Passenger side took me no more than 15 minutes because of my 3 hours experience from the driver side. It really bugged me that whoever worked on this car, just put it back together in a hurry, bad quality. Passenger side is missing a few clips to hold the door tight so i need to get me a few of those.
