Will a Roadster SRT Wing fit a Limited Coupe?

You have the money for your vetti and datsun and a m3 but for some reason you told your daughter to sell a srt for a na? If you have so much money to buy all these cars and you all ready got rid of the srt wing and rims why not just buy a na front end? When you meet someone as dumb as yourself tell me I would like to meet them.

I'm calling bullsh!t because so far as I can tell, besides Daun in Germany, me and jonny are the only people that have been able to get the electronics and wiring, which I'll remind you are NOT in the SRTs, to work in an SRT and operate the N/A wing as if it was factory... That and why in god's green earth would you get rid of SRT to buy an N/A?
Go find a bridge to hang out under you troll!

Yes, the SRT is very fast, but the NA is just as potentially dangerous in the wrong hands.
As for your comment about porsche-girl. It wasnt the fault of the car. The NA could end up the same way w/o a problem. God forbid!
I bought a Crossfire because I liked the power of the NA that I had rented. After a bit of research I found out about the SRT and located a roadster, (only one in the State of florida that was new at that time). I test drove a corvette at the same time and elected to buy the SRT. Partly due to the power the Z06 had and the fact that my daughter had just turned 16 and was an inexperienced driver and the excessive power didn't seem like a good combination with a 16 yo. LOL At 16 1/2 she got her own SRT and it is modded and is running 420 crank hp and 356 at the wheels. Not too different then then the 06 Z06 that I almost bought. No she has not had any speeding tickects with her SRT, but runs 12.5 in the 1/4 mile.

When I first purchased our new Crossfire in April of 05, the very first "mod" I planned on making was to install an SRT6 spoiler. (After all, I have a "history" of doing things like that) lol. But after just a couple of weeks of watching my cars wing go up and down in my rear view mirror, I realized it was pretty cool and decided to keep it.
I can't remember exactly when the novelty wore off but sometimes it seemed like when ever it would go up automatically, it would be like waving a red cape in front of a bull to any "tuner boy" within 100 yards of me while getting on the highway. Almost immediately somebody would pull up beside me and act like they wanted to race.
I found myself deliberately keeping my car under 65 mph, just to keep the wing from going up.
That's why I installed an "on/off" switch, so I can control when it goes up.
To this day, I still can't decide which design I prefer, but personally I think the Cross looks great with the wing/spoiler up/down/or permanent (SRT style).
I do think the NA cars wing looks best on the black and charcoal colored cars though, because the exposed (dark grey) inspection panel is less noticeable.

Can someone explain or show the differemce between a roadster and SRT wing? When I bought my coupe it had what I call a Whale tail mounted. The fuse is disconnected because the outer ends of the tail will hit the fenders if it is raised. Don't know if a dealer did it but the paint is exact and good after 6 years (2004) IT was mounted by drilling through the OEM NA coupe wing with nuts underneath the OEM wing. If someone would explain picture posting in GREAT detail I could try to post it.
Please post a pic of your wing. You can attach it in your post. Look toward the bottom of the page for "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" when you are posting. Or email it to me and I will post it for you. James

scoutmstr, That is definitely an SRT Wing or a very good copy. So that is attached to your active wing? Do you get an alarm or fault light on the swtich above 80 mpg? Just curious. James

It's mounted through the regular wing. No alarm, but above 80 I get a light. Thinking of pulling center console again and cutting wire to light on that and light on emergency flasher on console. I don't like it on at night

Just an idea, remove the trim from the hatch, find the "up limiit switch" and jump it. That way the BCM always thinks the wing is up. No light or alarm after that and all the factory dash wiring is still intact. I did mine that way to keep the light and alarm from coming on. Do a search for the write up.
