Sounds like a vacum leak. Take it to the dealer. Mine's an auto too and it idles very steady @ about 550 rpm.

They got it dirty and gave it back to you that way??? My dealer even washed mine when I took it in for the new radio. The only dirt on the car was drake dust from the 4 mile drive to the dealer.

I think I would send a nasty gram to DC. Have you received any surveys after your service visits? If so... Did you slam them?

at this point, I dont know what good a comment card will do for me. I think its time to look at another vehicle. I figure if I blow up the car on their dealership lot and collect on the insurance, I can get another car that might have better service, say a Chevy Metro or do they make Yugos anymore? At least I will be able to enjoy watching the service writers try to put out the flames of the Crossfire!! I think for sure my next vehice will probably be a horse drawn carriage.

Just think of the maintenance required on a horse drawn carriage.
- you need to refuel it every day
- frequent trips to the vetrinarian (which can be even more frustrating than a car dealership)
- very leaky fabric top
- and I'm sure those 'tires' are extremely hard to find - michelin definitely won't have THOSE in stock!

I'll just stick with my xfire... 8)
