The wife drives the crossfire more !!! Also would going to a 285/40ZR19 fit with out rubbing !!! I like the way the 40 look in front was wondering if they would fit on back ??? Anyone ???

I really don't have the run flats, but the F1 all season seem reasonably quiet and smooth. I heard they can get noisy as they wear. Also, I heard the run flats have a "harder" feeling ride. Maybe someone who has run flats of any brand could be more informative.

Actually, the run flats make a lot of sense for any car with no spare tire! I guess I feel lucky with newer tires and can't remember the last time I had a tire fail while driving. Had a few tires go flat in my driveway over night from a piece of metal that I removed and was able to plug successfully.

If the F1 RunFlats have a tread pattern anything like the F1 A/S, stay away from them. If GoodYear and TireRack agree to give you free replacements, due to noise and uneven wear, you know they have a real problem.

wow, ed. there's quite a few threads on this. use the search function. if you can afford it, get the ps2's or upgrade to pirellis. also, look under your cargo mat and you'll find a german-engineered solution that works for 95% of all flats. i haven't used goodyears in a long time (nice tire but they wear too quickly for my tastes).

Ed,
Many of us have added the tire repair kit that you can get at the auto parts store to use with the pump instead of the can of sealant.......

I have a set of the F1's on my crossfire and they are not noisy, but when they wear they do get noisy, even though they are run flats I would not drive on them. That is why I have AAA and if I get a flat they will flatbed my car to my home (or a tire shop) so I can take care of it my self.
