Cool What engine will fit?

Okay guys I have a base model Xfire with a 6-speed manual transmission and I was wondering what Mercedes engines would fit into my xfire as a project. I've heard a lot of people actually doing this successfully. I don't know how hard it is going to be to find a engine by itself either so right now it is in the planning process. It would really help if anyone one had any suggestions or comments thanks .

+1

I don't know of MANY people that have done swaps to a V8, in fact Lantana is the only one... Though HDDP did put a SRT-6 engine in his N/A eons ago...He hasn't been on in forever, too busy making movies and such.

You should be able to get an SLK 320 to fit.

I think the one from the C320 or E320 might fit too. Wiring shouldn't be to much of an issue either.

The Chevy Chevette engine was a very reliable motor. Being a four cylinder, it' should fit easily AND since it's Carburetor-type, no messy computer problems!
