Help with rim/tire combo
Help with rim/tire combo
hello everyone.
I am looking at purchasing a set of rims/tires I found online but I'm unsure if they will fit correctly on my 04 Crossfire. My Crossfire is completely stock (has not been lowered).
I have searched through forums and online but I want to be 100% sure this combination will fit and not cause any rubbing or other issues. I have also called local installers but they will not assist since the Foose Lusso rims are discontinued.
Below are the specs, any help is greatly appreciated
Rims - Foose Lusso 20 inch
5X112 20" - 8.5" front
Tires BF Goodrich T\A G-Force 245/30/ ZR20 - front
Rim Specs 5X112 20" - 10" rear
Tires BF Goodrich T\A G-Force 265/35/ ZR20 - rear
The package is coming off of a Mercedes AMG SL63

Re: Help with rim/tire combo
I put 20s all the way around on my car, and let me tell you, there is NO ONE who is going to tell you that these will fit, because all the info is not here and the tolerences are millimeters.
It depends on a lot of factors, 2 of which have not been mentioned, backspace and offset. I can tell you that my 225/30-20 on the front of my car would not turn, at all, and needed 10mm spacers, so chances are the 245 you want to put in the front will not even be close (unless backspace is wild)
Good luck with the whole endeavor, but my advice would be to buy 19" up front and a 20" out back - and lower it about 1.5".
