Spoke too soon...looks like electrical issues

Then you must have not owned an early ('93, '94) LH series Chrysler, Intrepid, Vision, Concorde, LHS, New Yorker. They decided to run a major part of the wiring loom under the radiator exposed to the elements. The insulation had the bad habit of disintegrating and shorting out.
The headlights were almost non existent and were a step back to the dark ages. Moving from my LHS and Concorde to the Crossfire was literally like night and day in terms of the headlights. Apart from the electrics the cars were twice the car the 300 is.
I owned a 1995 LHS. Had to trade it in before it was worthless. Paid $ 35k for the car.... drove it for 4 years 150,000 kms and it was worth $6500 to sell privately. A 1995 Honda civic was worth $16,000 new and was worth $8000 after 4 years. I did the comparison in 1999 when I traded the LHS.
You are bang on about the ineffective headlights but I did not experience any wiring issues. Lots of other issues though.

My wife worked at a Chrysler dealer so repairs were cheap, $25 an hour labour and parts dealer price plus 10%, wish I had that now.
Now I do recall ......AC Evap coil was replaced three or four times .
The car was running on 5 cylinders when I traded for a Acura TL.
