Shot for 5K and got it in at 5.2.Plan to change every 5K. My Dodge Dakota has over 300k with regular oil and changes at 3k and my Ram has 180k with the same and no problems whatsoever. I figure with synthec oil I'll get good service.

I purchased the maintanence contract and DC recommends about every 7500 miles. However this depends on your driving habits. Computer will tell you when it's needed. Mobil, on their website, say's 7500 also with Mobil1. I have a while yet since I only have 900 miles.

Seems like there is a time limit too, but I don't recall what it is.
