I sure wouldn't want TomStratRT's wife to be mad at me!

Hey Pat. I didn't see your post. I live in Lanham, which is about 30 minutes or so from Laurel. It's nice to know I have a fellow Crossfire owner in the area. Since the car is garage kept during the week I'm not really pushing the issue of getting it fixed ASAP.

I do appreciate the offer though.

Anyway, would one switch being knocked out cause three others (two of which are on the other side of the panel) not to work? I was mainly concerned that the spoiler switch stopped working when the heater switch got pushed in. Didn't make sense.

I ordered the removal tools from Amazon so it looks like this won't get looked at until Friday at the soonest.
Yes, it would Tom, as all of the switches are on the same panel that clips into the control board. Also, you can get the radio removal tool at WalMart. That is where I got mine. It was a package that had several different types. There are posts on here that show pictures of what it looks like. It is just a couple dollars.

Finally got to pull the radio today. Everything came off really easy and the whole switch panel was in fact disconnected in the back. I was having trouble with the heated seat switches because they wouldn't stay in place. I finally rigged it to stay in.

Now, it's all good again.

However...while driving today I did get a HIGH OIL LEVEL indicator in the dash. It came on and then went away. I have not touched the oil since I bought the car in June and this is the first time it has come on.

Thoughts?

if it came on and went out....could be the car was still cold, or they put too much oil in....just keep an eye on it...

Maybe it shorted something and burned a fuse? Just a thought.

Nope. It just knocked the other switches out. It's all good now. Thanks.
