CALIFORNIA REQUIRES FRONT PLATES
I live in Orange County CA, and when I bought my Xfire I had my salesman do a dealer trade with another dealer in San Bernardino just to get a car with no holes! Right now I'm taking my chances, but here's my crazy idea: attach some high-power magnets to the backside of the facia and the L/plate bracket .... no holes required!
I did this same thing with my Stratus R/T when I moved from NY to PA and no longer required a front plate. You can pick up the plugs at places like Home Depot or Lowes too. Just make sure you scuff them up a bit before you paint them or else the paint will start to come off after time. Rain hitting the front of a car at 75mph does have some force.

I found a box of various sized interior panel plugs (the plastic ones that have the smooth round outside that you have to use a thin pice of metal to remove) for chrysler vechicles. I also ran over to the spray paint section and grabed the one that I thougt looked closet (it was called graphite).
I found two differnt ones. one had a dimple in the middle so I went with the smooth version. I had to change the dimeter of the screw part with a utility knife and chop off the tip becase it was to long and was touching something.
I had an extra set of these so I figured I would experiment with them and then make the final pair when I had more time and the weather was better for painting projects.
Well I shot it with plastic primer, then some of the paint I bought and then I clear coated it.
It actually looks good and fits tight into the holes the dealership made in my poor bumper. When the weather is dry I will cut the other exact pair to fit and then paint the correctly.
I have a crummy pic (I only have a camera phone). I will try to see if i can do a gallery thing here and put it up.

Utah requires front plates also, but at least half of the cars on the road don't have em, I"m surely not gonna make holes in my bumper, unless they beat me into submission!!! (which is a possibility)

Why in the world would you keep Arizona plates on your vehicle four years, especially when living in PA??? PA has very low rates... $24.00 a year.
Our system here in AZ is a value tax as is NV and CA. I paid $545.00 for first year tags when I bought the XF. I just sent in $53.00 for new tags on a 10 year old '94 Honda Civic and $165.00 on a '99 Jeep TJ back in Feb.
Not being rude but you must have more money than you know what to do with to keep AZ tags when you didn't have to... or maybe you just didn't pay the fee in AZ???
BTW: AZ and PA have only one tag... why would they stop you?
I dont know what your problem is, (maybe I arrested you once in AZ) but for reasons I dont have to explain, I was paying less, to add, why would I change plates everytime time I move ? And I do that a lot  I gather you change plates everytime you leave the state !
Besides the AZ plates are cool !, And yes you are rude !!
Good grief ! cant anything here be said without getting pesonal !
And what the !@^$)# is AZ Outlaws ? Last time I checked it was a gang !

If you are or were a law enforcement officer - then you should be setting the right example - not being an example of how to get around the law because you think a state has "cool" plates - or even cheaper ones.
I live in New Jersey too, where front plates are required. It's a $48 fine... My last car was a riced up 97 Eclipse and I never had a front plate on it either. Got a few tickets in the Eclipse... but none so far in the Crossfire. I think cops can understand you don't want to ruin the look of the Crossfire... Take a look next time you see the rare Lambo or Ferrari.. most don't have front plates either.
I got pulled over once and I thought it was for the plate.. but he gave me a warning for my tint! LOL - He never even mentioned the fact I didn't have a front plate.. guess he didn't notice.. but he noticed I had tint. Wierd if you ask me.
BTW New Jersey laws suck!

Here we go again, someone who doesnft like to be questioned and when you do thinks itfs a personal attackc
Panzer1,
Chill Dude but hold on tight!!!
No problem here officer, honest... just questioning something that doesn't sound right. Do you have a problem with someone asking? This is the USA, we can do that here.
And... no you haven't arrested me, I don't have a rap sheet. I do however have almost 1 million miles under my belt in a Big Truck without an accident or ticket. Besides, I would have remembered you in your Smokey the Bear hat, aviator sun glasses and a uniform that was too tight fitting. Officer Bubba, wasn't it? Guess this not so real "AZ Outlaw" needs to hang his head in shame for not being a "real" outlaw, huh???
Let's try this one more time, only a little s-l-o-w-e-r... You paid less for AZ tags which uses a value/property tax system when PA charges only a flat $24.00 fee, $10.00 for Seniors??? That's very hard to believe officer!!! Were you driving on expired tags??? I have a ten year old car for which I just sent in $53.00 and $165.00 on a 5 year old Jeep TJ back in Feb, not to mention the $549.00 I paid for the XF. I must of missed a day or two of 4th grade math class when they explained how to figure that one out!!!.
Because it is the law, that's why and it's a no brainer... even Barney Fife knows that.
No officer, I don't... only when I "move". That is except when I was in the military, in which case the law allows you to keep the driver's license and vehicle tags from your home state. Oh, did you know a military person stationed in CA can get tags there for a low flat fee if he shows his HOR (that's military talk for home of record) is in another state???
Well by golly gee whoopy ding dongs!!! That is a good reason to keep out of state tags on your car when you take up residence in another state!!! AZ tags are gCoolh??? I never gave any thought to that part of the equation... silly me. However, it sure pisses me off when freeloaders move down here and try that crap. If they canft afford to pay their taxes somewhere then donft go there... stay up there in the rust belt, they'll be much happier!!!
Ifm very sorry, I wasnft trying to bec but then gOutlawsh are that way sometimes, you know? It's just their nature.
Nothing personal here!!! IMHO, you made some off the wall statements and I asked you about them, that's all. You twisted your own panties in a knot.
Ifm sorryc what does !@^$)# mean? Is that something grudeh that your mother would wash your mouth out with soap if you said it? Shame on you!!!
Oh, gAZ Outlawsgc thatfs called a "Forum or Interneth name, you know, like gPanzer1g. Didnft "Panzer" have something to do with a **** army thing... a tank outfit or something way back when in WWII??? So, does your "Forum" name make "you" a ****???
I almost forgot to make a comment on your suggestion of attaching an ugly a-- plate to an even uglier a-- looking bra you made in another post. Yeh, go for it. It should look real "cool" and "uptown" as you drive down the parkway with a plate blowing in the wind halfa-- wired to a bra. Would you post a pic?
Hey, anywayc have a great day.
