Default New Crossfire owner

I just got a black 05 roadster with 60k miles last week,so far I installed a 3 inch single spectra intake.I am a little confused about the pulley some have a sc pulley and some I see have a crank pulley, which is the best bang forthe buck. After that I will get my rear cats deleted and get a tune.

Welcome aboard! Just with an intake, SC pulley and tune, I posted a 12.07 at the track. I originally had the Spectre intake too, but used those parts for my custom work which has really helped my car. The SC pulley is the easiest to install. But of course more HP gains with the larger crank pulley and you'll need cooling upgrades for sure.

You have a great setup what is the best tire, I would like to stay on the 19 inch rim.I noticed that even though I have a 3 inch single intake it wakes the car up after I get settle in I will get some pictures weather has been wet here in the carolinas.

Welcome to XFire ownership and this Forum. I know you'll be pleased with your association of both.

Make sure you let us know where in the Carolinas you're situated. We've got a Listing of XFire Owners down here in our region and have GTGs (Get Togethers) and M&Gs (Meet & Greets) scattered thru the year.

Enjoy,

You'll have to get feedback from others that have performed various exhaust mods (I prefer my cars remain OEM stock). And there are quite a few specific examples scattered throughout the Forum. Try doing a search for Exhaust Mods and see what turns up.

Good Luck,

Not too good from my experiences. Just removing the rear cats is where I should have stayed at. Wound up removing the resonator and using a magnaflow muffler, but the drone inside the car drove me crazy. Put back on the stock muffler and went to the track 2 weeks ago and had my fastest time yet. These cars are tuned very well with the stock exhaust, especially on the SRT's.

Checkout the feedback in this Tire Review Thread we have going in the Forum.

The Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 tires are becoming a crowd favorite.

Hope this helps.
