Just got my crossfire like 9 days ago...its a 2004 dark grey 6 speed manual crossfire with 73k miles
im so happy with my new car since its my first car (Im 18) ive been looking for a car for months and never thought i was going to get a crossfire and i love it....it needs some things tho...minor things like new tires and new fog light assemblies but in overall great shape for the $$$..i dont want so say the price i got it for tho...u guys wouldn't believe me

 

Ashamed you paid too much, right? No problem, everyone said the same thing to me when I got my (first, red) one. I still show up at GTG's and they don't make fun of me.*








* Well, they make fun of me, but not for paying too much... there was the fall '09 Dragon, the two month marriage, my affection for Boone's Farm wine, my questionable garage skills .... but they have never mentioned what I paid for the car!

 

lol no the total opposite...i (well my dad) ended up paying 7.7k for the car....thats 3k less than what it should of been sold according to blue book...at first i thought the car had some mechanical problems or was rebuilt but no...i dont know why the guy that sold it to me sold it cheap...i guess he didnt used it

 

Last fall I passed on a 04 Limited Graphite 6 speed Coupe with 99k on it for $9995.

Then it went to $8995. I passed again.

THen it went to $7995 and I called the day after I saw the autotrader ad - it had sold the evening before.


These cars are not selling right now, if you bought from a private seller, the price was not that far off - if you bought from a dealer, then it was a bit low - but this is a tough economy! There is a blue limited auto just norht of me, the guy has had it since August. It has 51,000 on it and he wants $13K-something. He's gonna have that car for a LONG time!

 

oh...true that the economy is messed up right now...guess i got a little lucky
P.S.- do u think i can get the fog light assembly or just the glass in autozone or a similar store?

Unfortunately, you can't get a Crossfire fog light assembly at Autozone or a similar store. You will have to go to the dealer most likely to get it.

...I feel like someone was selling a full fog light assembly on here not too long ago. My suggestion would be to search here for someone selling one, you might get lucky.*



*It is worth it to note, that when you are searching threads keep track of when the original post was made. I would try to avoid reviving threads that are more than 6 months old...especially if it is regarding a For Sale item.
