Default Introduction

Hello, my name is Charles aka Hitz. I 'm a soldier stationed in Stuttgart, Germany. As of 26 May 04 I am also the new owner of a Crossfire. I look forward to getting to know you all.

As for Mods: I have the new sill plates with green L.E.D (not installed)
I have two 6in monitors attached to what's called a "goose neck" (not installed) I will be purchasing the dvd player and navigation system this afternoon. I will post photos upon completion.

Hi Charles and welcome to the forum. My last duty station was in Schwabisch Hall, I got out in 1982. I flew in and out of Stuttgart a lot. I wish I was there so I could drive this car on the autobahn.

Thank you, for your service!!!

We welcome all newbies but especially those who have demonstrated the good taste required to make a proper color selection. Of course Black. As if there were any real choice.

The vehicle has some difference, it has clear corner as oppose to amber, the floor mats has the chrysler logo. I purchased the vehicle at military car sales for $26,000 - 0 miles. Other than that I believe the specs to be the same. I live across the street from 1 of the two crysler dealers here in Stuttgart, so I was able to get the door sill with the green l.e.d. same day.

Welcome to the group and thank you for your service!!!

Are you going to have a problem bringing your car back to the US? When I was stationed in Japan... '70-'76 and '85-'92, it was darn near impossible to bring a Japanese car back as they didn't meet US DOT emission and safety standards. Anyone wanting to bring a car back had to post one heck of a customs bond to insure the car would be brought up to US standards... safety glass, protective door beams, emissions, headlights etc. We had to order cars through the BX New Car Sales for delivery and pick-up in the US.

Green? The illuminated sills over here are a light blue color. Hmmm...green might be pretty cool...

PS: Thanks for being there!
