Doesn't matter. Steve (32Krazy) has gone so far out of his way to help other crossfire owners than you could ever dream too. Especially since you never come out from behind your keyboard to actually meet other crossfire owners. In fact their was a meet near you, but you went completely out of your way to try and make sure it didn't happen. So if you feel the need to question someones place in this forum maybe you should look into a mirror.

But again... If I had an Amg why would I be in the crossfire forum? I would probably be in a slk forum.

So why would someone that does not own a crossfire be lurking around a crossfire forum?
im on all the mercedes forums. and the porsche forums. and here because the 2 cars are so similar and i have met some amazing people on here. actually shook hands and MET them. in person. not from behind a keyboard contributing zero to the the forum but actually trying to help and learn from some experts.
the reason your here? simple. you have a crossfire so you think thats carte blanche to take all the info provided and spew nonsense while doing nothing to enhance the forum.
run to the mods now and tell them your feelings are butt hurt . until you start to do something positive on here your still just a poser in many forms

dinasrt -

I covered the plate details to keep my personal information just that...PERSONAL. The Internet has made pretty much any type of information on anyone readily available. I may not be able to completely block every single curious eye, but I can try to at least minimize such activities.

Yes, I guess I understand about the minimizing exposure; just thought it was odd, because we drive around everyday with our license plates out there for anyone and everyone to see. I didn't really get how someone could take advantage of you by seeing it on the internet. It use to be that only the "good guys" could run plates and use that info. ... Perhaps I'm a bit naive I guess.

The he you are referring to is you. Do not try to sidestep the situation.
This is what you wrote, I wasn't going to post it as you had second thoughts, but as you seem to still want to p!ss people off.

You modified the post six minutes later to this.

The guy that put that meet together turned his car into a fake police vehicle with lights. I don't associate myself with people that break the law. By the way, I also have a life and the schedule of meetings in my area don't always match up. Besides, my encounter with you (a looney) doesn't really help. I don't think I would want to hang around with you.

Yeah... Let me hang out in the crossfire forum because it is just like my Porsche. The two cars are so similar they look the same... Right? Just like a Bentley!

And you deserve to be here because you contribute so much information to the forum on a car you don't even own... But that Is ok because you lowered yourself down from being a "Mercedes owner" and shook a poor mans hand that owned a crossfire. you are a special Mercedes Amg owner and we are just simple people that can't afford a Mercedes... So you came down to our level and sympathized with us by shaking our hands. Give me a break. Why not move on to a forum with a car that you actually own and drive.. Then you will have something to contribute. You would rather sit here and pick on real crossfire owners when I doubt you ever even drove a crossfire on a test drive.

Pal, you are so far off base as to have missed the cheap seats and are in the parking lot jiggling door handles.

Now, do you have anything to contribute? It seems (to me) that you are taking pot shots at some of the most productive members on this forum. 32krazy started with an SLK32 AMG and found tons of help with his mods here.
Both of these cars, despite your beliefs, have the same chassis. He moved up to a more recent vehicle, but our forum is still quite relevant to it.

I'm a member of all of the MB forums, too. I use my same username and never, ever hide the fact that I own a red-headed stepchild. I have yet to find one snob among them. Welcomed with open arms, as it were.

Were you snubbed "over there"? You're picking a fight you can't win: these guys are known, and liked by the rest of us.

No one here, so far as I know, has ever seen you. Do you own a Crossfire?

First... I am not your "pal". You need to earn that title. Second, It is clear to me that you would rather support a non crossfire owner troll than an actual crossfire owner like myself. I am a crossfire owner and just as much a fan as everyone here. I purchased my car brand new almost 8 years ago (this August). From the moment I saw it at the Chrysler dealer I knew I wanted one. I live and breath this car... and I can guarantee I will be a crossfire owner 30 years from now (unlike most people here)! I have been hanging around the Crossfire forum for many years now and I have contributed a lot of information. So let's get our priority straight and offer a little respect to the real crossfire owners and not the crossfire posers.

By the way, that was my last post on this subject. Everyone has gone way off topic. Everyone needs to calm down just a bit and stop the hatred. Let's get back on topic....

Let me refer you to a statement made by a friend of mine earlier in the Thread. Mainly because it really fits here.

So we should respect the "Real Crossfire Owners"? Not the ones that go out of their way to help others, but instead respect the "Real Owners" that like to stir stuff up? I can't believe you really just said that to a well respected Crossfire owner? Seriously did you forget your meds this morning? Oh and Poser? Really? Steve and I don't pretend to own a Crossfire.

It amazes me that you don't like the elitist attitude of AMG owners, because you certainly have an elitist mentality yourself. Only difference between you and me is the I would/have actually gone out of my way to help a fellow crossfire owner. And if we want to talk about Steve he's actually opened up his garage to a multitude of Crossfires. While we're here let's talk about Max. I've got photo's of max installing HID's at the Dragon on other peoples cars. What have you done? because actions totally speak louder than words.

This thread is Why no one puts a wrench or instrument on my machines or body. If you want it fixed. Fix it. Do your own navigating. It's fun. Enough rancor. Gary

Once again, a post of yours leaves me confused. The two topics at hand are:
  • Posers, and trying to be something you're not
  • blackcrossfire07's uncalled-for harassment of members who don't own a Crossfire, even though we don't know for certain that he owns one, as no one has even seen him at a meet in his eight years of ownership
WTH that has to do with "who sticks a wrench in whose machines/body" is beyond me.

I would certainly trust the mechanical ability of the more adept members of this forum over any stealership. And there are certain areas of the car I simply don't feel comfortable digging into... hence why it's good to keep fearless wrenchers around

I don't have a problem with AMG owners. I have a problem with AMG owners in a crossfire forum attacking real crossfire owners like myself. I don't need your rude attitude. I don't care for you and I don't need your help when it comes to crossfires. If others around here that are your friends hate me for not liking the way you treat me, then tough! I don't have a problem with them... but I do have a problem with your attitude. I don't care how many pictures you have taken at the dragon.... the truth is you are an ex crossfire owner. Plain and simple.

My apology to the rest of the forum members that have to read these attacks on me. This is an ongoing problem with Thirteendog and I will not continue this in a public forum any further. I am done responding and will continue to ignore him. No more responses from me on this subject. This is what PM's are for.

Black, you just don't get it, and apparently never will. You are never an ex-crossfire owner, it is like a cult that you cannot get out of LOL

That is why members show up to Woodward in their Challengers, and members show up to the Dragon in a rental or a Toyota, or show up in a pair of beautiful benz's like the fine gentlemen you are insulting here. By insulting them, you insult every one of us that calls them friends or has been helped by them in the past. Take it easy because they belong here a lot more than you do. Many here have drank beer with both of them on multiple occasions, and Steve has even loaned me tools at the Dragon.

Take it easy.

I am not insulting them.... they have been insulting me for years. They may be nice to everyone around here but they are not being nice to me right now. Posting pictures of a horse and making rude comments about my wife. And these guys are loved around here because they shared a beer and lent people their tools. I am just the bad guy and the rude one... their actions and comments are ok in everyone's eyes.
