Why the HELL is it that EVERY thread I see you post in, turns into the same old whiny crap?

Steve and Nick go out of their way to help others, and to entertain us at GTGs (ok, that one is mostly Nick, but still....)

What is it that YOU do for the community? What role do YOU play here or at GTGs?

So it is all about "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE FOR ME LATELY".

That is what this is all about. Because I don't show up at events and lend people my tools. I will keep my mouth shut and you can all have a blast horsing around with Steve and Nick. After all, I have absolutely nothing to contribute to this society.

I have contributed a lot to this forum over the past 3 years. I have asked questions and I have answered questions. Every problem I ever had I documented with a thread. I have had others PM me and ask about my experience because they needed answers for similar problems. I have contributed to this site just like everyone else. I know a lot about this car and all of the common problems (based on my 8 years of ownership). I have shared lots of stories having to do with my experience driving this car. So yes... I would consider myself a contributing member of this forum. If you spend the time reading some of my historical threads you would see that.

It seems that since I don't meet up with fellow crossfire members and have beers or lend tools I am considered a non-contributing member. In the eyes of most, I haven't done anything for this forum lately (mostly because I don't have anything technical at this point to contribute--- things that haven't been discussed before). If that is the truth, I can accept that!

I need to move to TN or Indiana just to become part of the Steve/Nick club (Or should I say "Stevie Nicks" fan club).
It seems like everytime one of of them posts a wise crack remark, everyone that jumps on the band wagon are from those two states.

I stumbled across this picture on tumblr earlier today and saved it for future use. Somehow I haven't managed to go a full day without needing it.

Blackcrossfire07 you are acting just like the little girl in this picture right now.

Black, I have said it before, and I will say it again, you just don't get it.

I am sure you love your crossfire, but in my heart of hearts, I can honestly say, you are not truly a 'car guy'

I think everyone else understand my sentiment after reading years worth of your threads. You say something completely off base or outlandish and get upset when people call you out for it. You think I like it when they ask if I need water wings because I flipped a car into the creek and could have died? Nope, but I take it and give it right back, because they do not mean it out of anger, just trying to get me going. It seems many here really get you going, but somehow, THEY are always the bad guy and poor old black the, 8 year crossfire owner is never at fault.

Yes, we all know you bought a crossfire brand new and have had it 8 years, in August, and NO ONE CARES.

Youve owned your 07 for 8 years?

The thing that is probably getting most people is your attitude. You have said some ridiculous stuff, not only in this thread. Why lie or exaggerate??? That isnt constructive. See, and your whole thing is you pull out for offensive moves (head needs to bob and weave when you say that) and then realize your out numbered, so you slowly crawl back, become deffensive and invite us for a pitty party....... I have probably read some threads of yours before, the thing is...... my car hasnt had any problems, like alot of the others who lurk on the forum like me..... We are interested in the inventions and theories, you know, the stuff the wife gets pissed off about if we bring up... The guys you got problems with do some very interesting R&D for this community..... Like I said, move on dude, were not a bunch of pussies for you to lean your head on and cry to, were the guys who will get over it if you man up and quit pulling little kid crap.

NO NO NO NO NO!!!! That is not what I said (or at least MEANT).

What my point was: It seems EVERY thread you have been in lately turns into drama about you and how offended you are.

Jeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzz, think of the ribbing I've taken over the whole "Hope/LaRita" thing, and about my timid driving on the Dragon ! Have I EVER got upset over it?

NO. For the same reason, JHM2K never gets upset when I refer to him and Kim as "Dufus and Smokin Hot Wife"; this is a group of friends. There is nothin to get upset about.

I have a 2005 crossfire. What you just said went in one ear and out the other. Maybe I will listen to you 10 years from now.

I remember reading about that incident in the creek (and seeing the pics). I can't believe these people break your chops about it. That is messed up! You are lucky to be alive!

For the record, I simply offered my opinion on the AMG badge in this thread. Then the attacks began. That is how I got here.... I guess you and I are both in the same boat... where High School behavior is tolerated and accepted. You almost died and people still joke with you about that incident.

Well, because... that's a fact. There's no explanation I have for my disproportionate blessing I have in Kim. Some things in life, you simply accept and look up to the big guy and say "thanks"

But you hit the nail on the head Mark.

We are a very close-knit group of ****-talkers. But the right to "dish out" must be earned. No painless way around that. When someone cries to a moderator and has them threaten a ban, that's a quick way to be seen as a crybaby instead of "one of the guys".

Nick has very limited mechanical ability -- hell, he even put used oil into a green radiator pan. But, he's the son Steve never wanted and he's bloody hilarious in person.

I'm no master tech when it comes to wrenching, but I'm willing to get my hands dirty and soak up knowledge like a sponge. Steve has the $$$ to play with, so I can let him blaze a trail and then I can carefully shop my next mod from the few that actually worked for him .

.
I have had a few members of this forum complain to the moderators about me. I know this because my wrist was slapped a long time ago and I was told there were various complaints. For all I know, you could have been one of them.

As a matter of fact, I was recently banned because Nick was attacking me. Not sure exactly what happened and I never got answers. So don't accuse me of being a whistle blower because I am not! I am far from being one of the moderator's favorites. If Nick is not one of their favorites either then you need to ask yourself why.

If I had the power to get you banned it would've been a perma-ban

Oh jeez. I still remember that day and I will never be aloud to forget it. Steve's exact words, "How could you do this? That was my FAVORITE coolant pan." He was so butt hurt about it that I bought him another one, so now he has two "Favorite" coolant pans.

Edit: HAHAHAHA I misspelled Allowed. Such a sourthern mistake.

Back at you! Apparently, there are others around here that don't like you or me. This is why I am now backing off this thread. I don't want to be banned... and I don't want you to have the pleasure knowing you did it.

I want a PERMA-GRIN when I drive/see crossfires, not a perma anything when someone gets a ban. This thread needs to just go away...

Nick's threads NEVER die... they just move to Facebook when they run their course here!
