I'm looking at buying a 2004 Coupe
I've been in the market for an exciting car to replace my boring '01 Subaru and came across a 2004 Coupe at a local dealer.
(Craigslist Link: 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Coupe)
I was hoping you guys had some suggestions for what to look for next time I go in and especially what could be a deal-breaker. (When the dealer inevitably calls me to come back)
Thanks!

Show them the rust under the door,

and tell them to knock off a $1000.

As for the rear view mirror... I have no clue hahaha
Only the 04's came with the automatic dimming rear view mirror. I just never heard anybody call it what they did.lol
My 04 has almost the exact miles on it, it's been one of the nicest cars I've ever owned.

Check the following:
seat heaters in the bottom cushions
each wheel for curb rash
tire tread left
trans pops out of 1st gear(?)
rust at lower inside door edges (already mentioned)
hazzy/foggy headlight lens
scrapes under front bumper cover
multipurpose wrench(OEM)
complete owners manual package
oil leakage at valve covers on engine

My 05 Roadster has ALMOST that many miles on it and it shifts and drives like new (well, after a set of tires and a $25 steering stabilizer).
The price is probably just fine, if it's in really good shape. IF you buy it, do the "sticky ignition key fix" right away, no you can't use that one to get them to drop the price UNLESS it acts up on the lot - but it's an easy fix and a TERRIBLE thing to have fail at the wrong time.
I am not a big fan of that exterior color, but I like the two-tone (Dark/Medium Slate Gray) interior and those pics look like it has that! If you buy it, you'll never regret it, 62,000 miles and six years of wait - for about a $25,000 discount? Sounds like a deal to me.

Also, check the transmission connector (if this ends up being an auto) for leaks.
Great car, great color, if in good condition, a good price...
