Got my cup holder replacement bin =]
I checked out the replacement bin at an Ontario Chrysler dealership. $108 !!! AGGHHH!
So I figured out the method to pop it back down from the stuck in up position. Works every time! I've even removed the tape that used to hold it down!
I'll blow the $108 on fuel!

Since my install I must say that I love it! So much more useful than the cup holder and less of a pain than it too... Now to get the seat wedge cup holder to place on the brackets between the seats as shown below

Turns out it is wider, wide enough to cover the two hooks between the seat backs. The one from Walmart and Advanced Auto was not that wide.
So instead of just having the cupholder sit in the bag, moving around, I decided to mount it WITHOUT modifying the orignial car.

I removed the two original hooks and put them away for safe keeping.

I checked my spare bracket box and found some that looked like they would work.

I mounted the brackets using the existing mounting holes and screws. This can be changed back to OEM in a matter of minutes.

My next stop to the hardware store I plan to purchase some black finish screws to replaced the chrome ones. Actually these aren't noticable once the seat backs are in position.

Now it is all secure and can be changed back in minutes but I don't why I would.

If you decide to make the following mod, be sure to use only this name brand. As stated before, the Walmart/Advanced Auto may not work the same way becasue of dimensions.

Or skip the new hardware and touch up the chrome with this in black: RustOleum.com
'of course black screws would be a bit cheaper.
