Default NO rust

I use Waxoyl to keep my Crossfire rust free excluding exhaust parts. I have completed the job by using Dot 5 in the brakes. No water, no rust. The silicon fluid lubricates the pistons and preserves the seals. Plus attracts no water. Will not damage paint. And it is OE in US military vehicles. They must work after storage. Gary

So what exactly are you getting at? The language in your thread lacks clarity. Can you please clarify.

Dot 5 brake fluid is permanent. I put it in my cars and bikes since 1978. The brake interior systems are still as clean as when I put it in. No replacing calipers, wheel cylinders, master cylinders or flex lines.Just replace the friction elements. Gary
