Have to go with 13 on this ......
I bought the car on exterior LOOKS, and then was pleasantly surprised to find that underneath all that glamor was a real piece of mechanical art.

On your list the only car other than the Crossfire I would consider is the Mini Cooper S. The Mazda and the Nissan will fall apart long before the Crossfire or the Mini. I had a Mini and loved it, but the Crossfire is much more for the money IMHO.

As far as the power of the SRT, you will soon have a turbo option for the n/a 6spd and auto cars that will get you to SRT performance levels. The build quality of the Crossfire including the interior is typical Mercedes Benz. Yea there are some abused junk out there and I remember seeing a few in my search for my car.

The looks and knowing MB had a hand in it was my attraction.. little did I know MB had both hands in it..lol. Only looked at a Chrysler when they had come out with a lifetime drivetrain warrenty.
Should I even ask how much the total date on the Turbo is going to run (estimated)..tubo..tuned..etc..?

The Crossfire is the best buy you will find on a German built sports car! The turbo kit is being developed by Corky Bell of Bell Engineering (BEGi) with consulting from Kleeman. The complete kit price is targeted at $3,500. I was just at his shop this past weekend with another owner of a V6 powered car to plan out the kit. The first car will start to receive its kit in a few weeks.

Well las month I stopped by the Casino to see if they had tires (thats exactly what I told my wife)... And sure enough they did! with an extra 600 for gas to get to the tire store.

Maybe lightening will strike twice...lol. Kids started crying when I told them It was Christmas for Daddy this year

If the latter, again pass it up.
maybe it could be a linkage sensor

BettyBoo, you know this is a 12 year old post, don't you? I am pretty sure whatever was the issue, it isn't any more.
