Hot....Really Hot
Just picked up my 2004 Black Clear Coat Crossfire 2 weeks ago........love it. I have the 6-speed manual...
Anyone else notice that the left side of the center console and directly below the steering wheel get really hot!?!?
I know it is also because there are barely windows and the car is black but.......seems hotter in those two places.

 Come on....first sports car maybe I'm not use to sitting that close to the engine? It is in the lower dash and by the stick so I doubt it is one type of problem. Is it just the black on black?
nice choice!! i have the same...also 6-speed. i haven't really noticed the heat thing, but i'll check it out on my way home from work in a little bit!
P.S. Use Zaino Bros. polish...makes the black look amazing!

Sorry to jump in "off subject" PEREZE but is your signature phrase from Top Gun? It's driving us nuts tryin to remember where we heard that. As for the heat problem, could it possibly be from the transmission? It's under that tunnel.
Yeah....mother goose says it in the bar before he introduces Maverick to Ice
Yeah.....but it also seems to be under the steering wheel too and I only really notice on hot days after driving for 1/2 plus
