Default XF - it get's noticed

Driving around town today going from store to store with my wife there were three different times people approached me in the parking lot and asked what kind of car it was. With so many of them made early in the production run, they are quickly becoming less common as average age creeps up on them. It is just a really different car....nothing else looks like it.

I have a fully loaded BMW Z4 in perfect condition and as great as it looks (incredible), it doesn't get anything close to the same amount of attention.

Pretty cool car, nice reminder of that.

As cool as the xfire is I think it depends where in the world you are.
I got my xfire in december 2011 after trading in my then 3.0 BMW Z4 convertible, also in excellent form but I got more attention with the Z4.

Well no wonder they say that about your car, it's on the "list"

The Ugliest Cars in Britain

Well at least the SRT is.

I have to admit the new Z4 with the retractable hardtop is really sweet looking.....saw a red one yesterday....nice!

Saw a Cayman R on display in a mall yesterday....nice....but sticker was $82,500....

I live in a town with many doctors, so it might be a matter of more premium cars being common. I admit the Z4 is more fun to drive

Either way, the bang for the buck on a used XF is off the chart now that they are settled low in price from a resale perspective.
