Default Converting the Coupe to SRT-6

So I have a limited coupe 2004 crossfire in the garage and I wanna make it faster. So naturally let's go out buy a supercharger and slap on it but before I buy this supercharger I wanna know will it fit my V6 right or am I gonna need something else with it. Also will it run the same and feel like all the other SRT's?

I've heard of people doing these conversions and just wanted to know how it went. Any ideas, facts or opions are welcome.

Thanks

To date, I don't know of anyone that has successfully installed the supercharger on N/A motor, with any success.

Not trying to be a Debbie Downer but it really isn't a wise game plan.

Suggest you look into the turbo thread, currently in progress.

Cheers,

So there are no mounting brackets already on the crossfire for an easy installation of this AMG supercharger

So I'm guessing since your all ready to bolt on a super charger - you've already resolved all the electronics issues.
We would sure like to see the write up on it since BEGi is still working on the computer interface to boost end.

Try one of these. I hear they're awesome, and this one has a 7 day return policy.

They even publish the wiring diagram.... what a super cool company!

Imagine how cool it would be to have a "TURBO SWITCH" in my Roadster! I'll mount it up on the overhead so everyone can see me push the button when we are running the Dragon this fall! Hell, even my camera will record it!

You bettter keep your sorry, non-super-charged MB **** outta my way this fall, Nick!

There's only 5 left so I'm hoping for a quick answer.. will the computer see the voltage drop for the turbo fan and adjust fuel ratio's automatically ?

Mark even with a proper supercharger/turbocharger I don't think I'd be worried about being in your way... This fall or next fall.

Well I am use to having 8 to 10 hour days at the dragon. Following Mark on a shorter run would probably equal this

But I'm getting new shoes and tires, too! (Went this afternoon and zipped up and down Blood Mountain ... should have taken the camera ... I'm learning.)

Thread hijacked and totally trashed. It's been another good night!

Why is the board repeating my sigline like that?

Oh no, it's no where near trashed. We're all still being pleasant with each other.

PS I'm working on a big Thread for Monday. Stay tuned... it should be epic

OK, I guess it's only repeating my sigline for ME.

I'll check back tomorrow, Nick. Headed to shower and bed!
