TTTTToast
Geek Charlie - Dude, in case you didnt realize, this is a Crossfire forum. What the hell do you expect Crossfire owners to think about their cars. Get a friggin clue. And regarding my initial post, truth hurt? By the way, what is the TT forum...I'd love to start chiming in on every post over there.

Here us another challenge: If anyone is going to take me up on the race challenge we can take our cars to a lot somewhere and ask the 1st 20 people we meet which car looks better (inside/outside/both). Oh yeah, you're not allowed to pick the Wallmart lot because that will tip the odds in your favor 8)

Most of you (Is said MOST of you, not all) are only coming at us with opinions. Opinions are arguable. Facts are not.
X'ed - TTs oversteer w/the right rear sway bar 8) And I know the TT's a pig...but if I wanted a pure race car, I wouldn't have bought it. Or a Crossfire.

It's Greek, not Geek. Time to take your own advice and get a clue for yourself.
And I'll tell you what I'd expect. I'd expect Crossfire owners not to be immature and stupid. I don't care if your original post is true, a lie, or a dream. Really doesn't bother me. Interesting debates are always fun... and, I'm also not surprised by the fact that none of you are going to ditch your Crossfires, or your opinions thereof, for a TT, and vice versa.
And name calling is ALWAYS the best way to prove a point. I remeber when I first learned that in elementary school. You keep that in mind, and use that bit of advice. We can just call it a favor from me to you.
they dont really use an individual forum. they have this place www.audiworld.com where all audi owners hang out. i swear they are the snobbiest people you'll ever meet. they are taken the snob title from the bmw people. i used to go to the s4 meets in the bay area, those guys made me feel queezy we how much they talked about how great s4's are (which they are), how great they were (which they weren't) and how great their money was (which mostly wasn't their's) and how crappy everybody else was. now thats not to say the guys posting here are snobs, although i dont really think they are all constructive people

S4 owners are (generally) d*cks. Most Audiphiles are die-hard car guys, and as long as you don't come with a Taurus and call it a sports car, it's all good. I like the Crossfire. I think it's a little *different* looking, but that's the point. I wouldn't buy one before I bought a TT, but that's just my opinion. If they were out when I bought my TT, I would have test driven one first. I drove a few 350Zs, and liked the TT much better. It has manners, and it's smoooooooth as butta. I need to go drive a Crossfire, and you all need to experience a TT. But please don't go drive a stock 180 and come back with "it's slow..." cause they ARE slow.
yeah i did, someone ran a red from my right and hit my front right end, damaging my wheel, various suspension parts, quarter panel, and front bumper. Im taking it to my friends shop friday, hopefully itll be done in the next week or two. i might tell my buddy to use the insuranc money to get me some new rims and pay for the repairs out of pocket, since my deductable is pretty high anyway. this is about the last thing i needed, because im takin a few days of work for non paid vacation and am going to have to pinch some pennies for next month. the lady (no offense, but of course!) was doing not more than 15 when she hit me, and the xfire took it like a tank, cant say the same for her camry. lady ruined my record, almost six years going with 0 incidents, not many 21 y/olds say can say that, and now i can't either. at least it wasnt my fault, but i still should have found a way to avoid it. there is nothing worse than seeing a car as beautiful as the x-fire with any sort of blemish on it.
Maybe i should be like Wmichaels except put

I'd be down, but I'm on the east coast (Maryland). Don't think too many of you guys are local...

GreekTT i have a great amount of experience with the TT the 225 feels about the same as the crossfire as terms of speed. Like i said before i got the XF for half the money a month as the TT was going to cost me. Infact i got a 330ci 6-speed lease qoute for less a mo than the TT only by 18 bux. I couldn't beat the crossfires payment.
I do have one question for you TT guys. Why in the world would any one buy the TT3.2 over the TT225? If what you say is true the 225 can match it for speed and then you lose your tunability of the 1.8T. Just curious.

I have NO idea why anyone would buy a 3.2. I, for one, don't like auto at ALL (paddle shift or otherwise). And for half the price...I think you might have made a pretty good decision.
i think its because it has that new tranny (no not the one in the pic.) that has like that direct shift thing, two clutches or some crap when the car gets the next gear spinning before you even shift, supposed to be real cool. also, there are those that just love low end torque. but im with bullseye, i more or less got the crossfire because im only paying 299 a month, needed a new car and thats about what id be paying for a 20 thoushand dollar car. i also love the way it handeled, it had decent power and i think its top 5 in looks. im comin out of a grand cherokee as a daily driver (ran a 14.2, total sleeper) and a 350 whp 1979 rx7 with a series II second gen turbo II rx7 motor and tranyy, t04 turbo, stanalone ecu, ford 9" rear end, disc brakes all the way around, roll cage, front mount ic custom exhaust and on on on on on , probably could have bought a much nicer car, but it was fun. now i put put along with 215 hp, but im trying to fix that (anyone say nos).
