Default 74mm Throttle Body Upgrade done

Well, I just did the 74mm throttle body upgrade this evening and took it for a run. Also I was fortunate to get the upgraded throttle body from a 2008 Mercedes with low miles. When I took it out, the ride was great and exciting. Tomorrow I should go down to Eurocharged and get the upgraded tune for the throttle body. The whole upgrade was less than an hour. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Nice! I am in the market for the same. Where did you get your throttle body from? I haven't been able to find one for under 200.00, which seems high compared to what I've seen them for in the past.

I got mine on eBay for $126.00. I just kept researching and got fortunate to find one. I can only recommend keeping your eyes and ears open. Now I can only wonder what my next mod will be. Good luck.

Would a TB from a 2006 SLK work for this mod? They've got one listed for $75.

Was there a noticable difference in acceleration or speed ? And how has your fuel economy been ? Hasn't suffered has it ?
Since your not tuned yet I'm just wondering because this would be my first mod to the engine

Well after I did my throttle body upgrade and the time it took to get the ECU reflashed I didnt do much driving so I really cant comment on the fuel economy. But on the acceleration part, i have noticed an increase in this. Noticeable acceleration increase from before.

Once you get the upgrade done you will enjoy your Crossfire even more so. Exciting just taking it to the store! Enjoy!
