I have read far too many instances where PayPal decided a case that seemed to be supported only by the member who generated the most $ for them. If you have only one i not dotted, PP has a reason to rule against you. Just my experience of seeing far to many get taken then turn to PP and get screwed again thinking they are safe.

Indeed. That was my reference. perhaps I should have been more specific. I meant, rather than sending as Personal > Gift (et al), a goods purchase would have added about 3% and offered the protection.

I was not sure if you meant that, there is a lesson to be learned here.
I have had no trouble with PayPal and only one small problem with a seller, which was resolved.

In light of the spirit of this thread, I intentionally wanted it to sound that way!!! Just a little attempt at humor, so I'm actually glad you caught it!

Ah, but not only better as far as the cash outlay to the buyer is concerned but also this: he'll have the actual parts in hand at the same moment he parts with the cash. Instant gratification as it were. And - amazing as it sounds - he'll actually be able to inspect the parts BEFORE he pays. I'm CRAZY!!!

This is supposed to be a compliment?!?!?!? (just kidding, Max, my friend!!!)

I too am a combat veteran, OIF 1&2. I too went through PTSD problems and counseling. I too spent almost 8 years in the Army.
I am not trying to downplay your situation, but in my mind I would have NEVER accepted money for an item and never shipped the item. Even if a situation came up immediately after receiving funds but before I could ship said item, I would have contacted the buyer IMMEDIATELY and gave them the option of waiting or a refund.
Anybody who doesn't think that way never had good intentions from the start.

I get that crossfireracr had issues with injuries and PTSD, but that doesn't exempt him from his duties to make this right. All he has to do is change his web browser from crossfireforum.org to paypal.com, and send me my money to gpeterson119@gmail.com.... matter resolved. Done and done

I had a less than model childhood.. "timeout" was how long it took you to wake up from the backhand..

Guess that gives me the "right" to screw over people..
