Never surprised on what people will put on Facebook. Tracked down a lot of people on Facebook and other social media sites.

Exactly why he and the rest of us should conduct our personal business with INTEGRITY....... otherwise things will come back to haunt you.

You miss my point, which is don't get mad, get even .... plus some interest.

It is better sometimes when they do not know for sure who got them, just look them in the eye and say ' that's tough'.

I had a really horrible supervisor once - long story and I told him I'd be sitting at my desk and laughing when he got fired and escorted out, sad thing was that I was on holiday when he was fired but I'm sure he was thankful for that at least.

So relying on your wisdom of the ages.. even if the money gets returned where does a renege rate on a scale of 1-10?

Just future reference..

Damn I wish you were in on the Turbo buy, with your attitude, it would have been really interesting. Begi has taken full payment for one car and numerous partial payments from others and produced nothing but excuses.

I am in his area. Knock knock knocking on heavens door!

If he doesn't pay you the money, he can send you one of those girls in the high heels to work it off.

I saw that this guy was a major flake and contacted paypal to retract my payment. Apperantly, I sent him the money "the wrong way" under personal transaction and long story short, they wouldn't cover my loses.

This is a post warning everyone of this member. Thanks for reading
Hey, you're in Ramona, I'm in Orange County and I have a stock exhaust off my Limited available. I installed a Magnaflow cat-back a few years ago and the stock unit is sitting in my garage. I'd be happy to meet you half way to deliver it and take $100 off you for it.

Update: I've been working with FP on the subject, but we are still waiting for more communication from Crossfireracr. I like your attitude 180, but I think I'd spend more on gas getting to Texas than I could beat out of him haha

Hey Mike from Orange County. Thanks for your offer! I appreciate it. If you aren't in a rush to sell it, I would like to wait until this issue is resolved before I move to alternatives. But like I said, this has been an ongoing problem so I will probably take you up on your offer in the near future. I also have family in Orange, so sometime in the next month or two, I may be up there and could meet you.

Hey Mike, in light of the spirit of this thread, wouldn't it be nicer to say :
" I'll meet you half way and accept $100 from you"
rather than "take $100 off you" ( that's already been done )

I'm trying to understand why some think it is appropriate to contact this persons superiors at his place of employment, in this case the US military? If I have a problem with you outside of your work, should I call you boss? Weird.

It's kinda like when you were six and stole a candy bar.. the stock boys didn't take you out back for a beat down.. the store manager just told your mamma and hoped you lived to see another day.. This was back in the day.. LOL

Maybe you have to be ex-military to understand. UCMJ extends into a military member's personal actions, not just activities on base. For a soldier, the commander and first sergeant are the point of contact when wrong-doing is suspected. The commander can impose non-judicial punishment (article 15), so he's the judge and jury. In the case of non-judicial punishment, the military police isn't involved. This might be a good case for the commander to issue an Article 15 for Conduct unbecoming a soldier.

It's been a while since I was in the military, so forgive me if some of the above is a little off.

When being pleasant and civilized makes no difference to the situation it is time to up the pressure.
The threat of bringing it to the attention of his superiors should hopefully do the trick. If not, then go ahead and do it, idle threats are useless.

Don't get mad get even.

Just a thought, but why not pay the extra three percent charge for protection? Paypal is most-often on the buyer's side (even when they shouldn't be). Getting the funds back would likely have been easier and you'd have better legal recourse if you chose to persue. Of course hindsight is 20/20 as they say.
