Default Thinking about coming back...

I found and drove my late cars twin over the weekend, except the mileage is very low. 28k vs 99k.

Tires look fairly new, Bridgestones. They told me $13.8k, but I see it's lower on their site. I thought $13.8k seemed a bit high, even with the miles, but...

I'm still waiting on insurance to "make an offer" on my old one. So, can't do anything yet. I've been thinking about several different cars (makes and models), and not really sure what I want to do.

It was kind of weird seeing and driving my cars twin, but it handled great. Everything seemed to work, and the headlights weren't even too hazy yet.

I guess my only concern is I know there are some issues that may or may not come with age. Gear whine, heated seats, popping out of first gear. Oh, headliner is already starting to fall.

I'll just wait and see what insurance says. May go back and talk to them then, and see what happens. If it was dark gray or red I would probably have discussed putting down a deposit.

There is also an identical 2007 with 31k miles close by. They're asking $15.5 for it. It needs tires though.

Oh, and as soon as I sat down in the driver's seat I realized I left a coin holder full of quarters in my old one...

Yea, a bit high for an N/A coupe, IMO. On the other hand, those with under 30,000 are getting kinda rare... I see the online price... maybe offer 12K? (I mean, when you can...)

They've still got this one. Got it marked down to $11,800 now. Starting to get interested again. Now that I've sold my stereo harness and front plate bracket...

Well, I'm going to hold off a bit. I may regret it, but even though I said I wanted to go with something new I've got a lead a clean Grand National... and I gotta see where it goes.
