Flat Towing my 2003 Automatic Trans Xfre
I have a motor couch & I would like to know what I have to do/modify to tow my Crossfire that has the automatic transmission with 4 tires on the ground [flat tow]. Will a trans fluid electrice fluid pump work? Is a drive shaft disconnect available?

Would probably be the best option .....
1. You don't put any wear on the car's tires.
2. You don't have to modify the car in any way.
3. Easy on/off.
4. You can use the trailer for other purposes when not using it for the car.
5. It has electric brakes on one of the axles.

Blue Ox has a baseplate listed under "2005 Chrysler Crossfire". Remco has the transmission lube device for either the N/A or SRT 6 automatics. 6 Speed manual equipped cars do not need a driveshaft disconnect. In many states you will also need a braking assist device like Brake Buddy. I've been towing my xf for almost 5 years and, despite some members predictions of doom and gloom, the sun still rises in the East every morning. Google is your friend. Good Luck and Happy Motoring.
