I had my oil light came on about the time I had to do an oil change anyway so I changed the oil. Not thinking I put 9 q of oil in. The day after the oil light came back on. Threw reading that was to much oil! I just drained a full quart now. My oil sits at the max line in the dip stick now. Before it was way over. But I still have the light on! It's a 04 with 92k. I read a few things saying oil pick up or sensors go bad? That sounds like bad news! Please someone with insite please reply. Thank you in advance.

 

my lite been on for 2 years, fail the same way yours did, going to be oil level sensor have to remove oil pan to replace
