$5 Front spoiler lip
[FONT="Arial Black"]
I would like some opinions: I currently have installed the infamous $5 front spoiler lip...its is in it's original color(faltish black). What would you "eye appeal" experts think of painting it Gloss Black? I have gloss black machined faced rims, gloss black slasher stripes, and gloss black/silver revised Crossfire Emblems. I think I want to keep it the black color instead of the car paint scheme(Blaze Red).Carl

Austinbarrylee: Go to ebay; Punch in: 1999-2000 Civic-2 3 4 door Type PU Black add-on front bumper lip spoiler .The site showing this has it for 36.99..Carl
Austinbarrylee: Make sure it doesn't have the "extra" top flange.. (review thread).. you'll find the $5.00 answer to the question too... LOL
And Carl.. you'll have to make a return trip to the dragon.. Looking at making the spring run..

Austinbarrylee: Don't know...the first time I was introduced to it, it was called the $5 spoiler lip!!!
Mrmiata: Certainly will try...I really love cars/racing/etc. When is the spring run and where?.. See you in about 5 weeks.Carl
It's the first of April..same place.. dragon. I've got my vacation time sunk into the CAA#4 trip this weekend.. so I won't be at the fall dragon.
mrmiata: Sorry you will not make the Fall Dragon...will probably see you in the spring..Have a nice vacation...Carl
Austinbarrylee: Don't know...I have a 2004 coupe...I'm sure someone that has a SRT6 could advise...Carl
a) I don't think it would look right on an SRT as the bumper already has an extra lip
b) its he $5 lip because it was listed on ebay for the wrong price originally and after that first $5 purchase, the price was corrected
c) paint it to match the body color. it isn't a lip that is made for our car so its never going to look exactly right, especially when it stands out as a completely different color
