* Update *
Had it on the reader at 2 garages and both say no fault codes are showing or can be cleared.
Explained the problem around how car seems to cut power up the revs and he wonders if it has 'Jumped A Tooth' and now the timing is out?
He said that could be why the reader shows that acceleration is in the -numbers and not advancing?

Does this sound like anything you could advise on?

Thanks in advance

Hi Guys,
Tried all sorts this weekend, I have checked for Vacuum leaks but cannot identify any. I have now replaced MAF Sensory, the Throttle Pedal Assembly. No Faults codes are showing or stored at all.

The car turns over fine, idles at around 500 (give or take a bit). When I accelerate in neutral there doesnt seem to be any flat spots. However when im actually driving the car, it lacks power and doesnt pick up quickly at all, its as if it misses later on up the revs and cuts power for a split second, and it sounds a lot lot more whiney that it ever has been when running normal.

I think I will buy another Throttle Body or would you guys think this could be something like what other users have had problems with:

Electrical Transmission Plate
Idler Pulley
Camshaft Sensor
Fuel Pressure
Serpentine Belt

Do any of the above sound like they could be at fault?

The machinic who it has been going back to says it isnt 'advancing my timing'

Cheers for the help, its just starting to stress me quite a bit now

Do you have the original trouble code?

I would be inclined to reinstall the old parts and start over.

I read through this thread and see nowhere stated that this is a 'N/A' and not a SRT6.
I 'assume' from all the MAF talk, it is an N/A, but on the off chance it is a SRT6, you had best look into a new intercooler pump.

I dont have the original Fault Code and I have thrown the old MAF Sensor.
Before replacing the MAF Sensor, it was mimmicking what happens when my MAF sensor is unplugged, it would have a huge delay from pressing the pedal to the Revs responding. That is now ok since the Sensor was replaced.

When I rev the car in neutral it takes a long time for the needle to find its way back down, really does drop slowly

My XFire is the N/A yes, finding an SRT over here is rare!

I wonder if its something as simple as the 'O Ring' on the TB is buggered and now air is escaping / sucking in.
I have ordered another Throttle Body so waiting for that to be delivered.

MB Specialist garages dont seem to be common around my area either, just my luck lol
Will keep trying things and posting the results

* Update *

Fitted new Throttle Body yesterday and no different.

Does this sound like it could be something like a spark plugs? Could be worth changing them I guess.

I will also have a battery test today after work as I have been advised that when a battery is week or bad connections etc that it can effect alsorts in a car but it seems to me like it may be missing or something, why else would it lack power and seem to have a jolt later on if I try rev it through

At the min it seems im just dropping money off a bridge into thin air, keep replacing things that dont need need replacing. I WILL get there in the end! lol

First things first, get any fault codes read and recorded.
