Mystery no start. PLEASE HELP!!!
So this is the deal, I bought my 2004 crossfire from carmax about 3 years ago and shortly after I purchased it, about 6 weeks, it started to cut out after 30 min of driving. During this time, all the lights would come on and when you turn the key, nothing happens. I would wait about 3 hours and then it would start back up. Then at a certain point it just wouldn't start Eventually on here i found the solution of opening up the RCM and soldering a connection. Success it worked, until about 4 weeks ago. Now it is not starting at all, same symptoms. I opened up the RCM and noticed the burnt relay. Instead of continuing trying to fix it, I bought a new RCM........didnt work
The only other things I can share is that when I step on the gas pedal, its sort of loose as if its not pumping anything. I feel like i recall it getting stiffer when you step on it continuously.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I would change the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) it's cheap and easy and would eliminate one potential problem. You didn't mention if it still cranked over or not?

Dave, thank you for your response. When I plug the RCM in it will crank one or two times, then nothing. I replaced the CPS about two years ago. Is it possible that it already went bad?
Was it Bosch?
Hi!!! Just had that problem and it's NOT the sensors!!!! It's the board that the sensors are placed in the computer. My electromechanic fixed the poor weld that originally comes with and had No problems since!! BTW it gets hot, and the starting sensor won't work until it cools down!! Just paid 60 bucks to get it fixed!!
That's great that you got it fixed !
I like that new word :
Perhaps that is how tighed1 and pizzaguy should be addressed in the future ?

I prefer, "The high and exalted Pizza", but will respond to most anything, even "Hey Dumbass".
