My Limited does not keep the headlights on for a delay, it keeps the fog lights on.
Perhaps you have a base model that does not have fog lights ?

My base model does not turn off the headlights if you leave them in the on position until the battery dies. No fogs to speak of, but this isn't a feature I was aware of the crossfires having at all.

Yep, that's a Limited, the fog lights should remain on for 30-45 seconds after key off.

Not that I recall, I'll go see.

EDIT :

In my dark garage, I started the car with the driver's door open, turned on the headlights, then turned off the headlights, then the ignition.
All that stayed on was the dome lights.
As soon as I shut the driver's door, the fog lights, the 2 little eyebrow lights, all four side running lights and the tail lights came on and
stayed on for 35 seconds.

( when you turn the headlights off, the switch automatically is cammed in and to the fog off position )

If you use any of the light switch positions, the delay feature is activated. If you haven't, they do not come on.

At least on mine. 2005 Limited Roadster.

Right?

Right?
From my experience, I agree that that is the case.

So is there place to activate that light off time delay? or is there some kind of set of actions to get in on? Example on 300M, first need to turn car off and after that turn lights off from light-switch, then headlamps stay on for about 30 secs

The way to not have the fog lights turn on after you shut off the car is to lock the car with the fob BEFORE you shut the driver's door. Then close the door and lock the car again because the door won't lock while it's open. Learned that from a thread here on the forum.
