Is this a good deal?
Can I get your opinions on this deal
2004 Crossfire coupe, automatic, 8000 miles, in service date is October, 2003. Build # 004747. Comes with Chrysler certified 8/80 warranty. I lose about 5K miles on the b2b but I gain 2K extra miles on the drive train because I will probably run out warranty on mileage before the time is up. Dealer list price was $24995 plus TTT, I got them down to $24,861 on the road. Best price I have found on a new left over '04 with the same equipment is about $28,660 plus TTT which would put it at $30500 on the road. So I saved about $5600 over new.

Generally speaking, if YOU think it's a good deal, then count your blessings and don't ask questions! But, according to Kelly Blue Book (www.kbb.com) you did OK. Dealer retail is listed at a little over $29,000, and Private Owner price is listed at a little over $26,000. So according to this site, at least, you did good!
Have fun and enjoy your new XFire....

I have not bought it yet because I did not know what I wanted to do with my trade. Now that I have reread my post I can see where it looks like I already bought it. I do have a concern with the low build number.
Bulls eye thanks for you comment I guess I needed an impartial party confirm my apprehensions. I was thinking maybe $22k on the road but I doubt they will go that low.

Always tell the dealer the sticker price is the OTR price. If they try and add extras after agreeing on the sticker price I'd complain about miss-advertising etc.. The sticker price is the price full stop.
Hi
IMHO its a bit high, I payed $ 26 k new 2004 left over 96 miles , $ 154 tags & reg, $ 1300 Sales tax. Dealer has 2 more coupes , blaze red , stick, on lot. I go the dealer to give me 2 free oil changes.

I just purchased about two weeks ago. My deal was very similar to vet4scuba. I paid $25,900 plus tags, reg and tax for a new leftover 2004 coupe with about 700 miles on it.. Sticker was around $34,500. I would be looking for $8k to $10k below sticker for a leftover 2004.
I paid $23,495 plus T & L and the ubiquitous Doc Fee ($45) for a new '04 six speed coupe in Antioch, CA in December '04. This was $11,000 under MSRP. The dealer had prox 4 new '04's at the time.

Same here, I just purchased a red 2004 with every option and automatic with 200mi.
$26000.00 plus tax and LIC. also paid 1300 for 100k BtoB warranty (includes all oil changes).
I am very satisfied with my 10k under asking price. They had 7 cars on the lot and the sales manager tried to get me to buy for 30k until i went through another salesman straight to the owner of the dealership. good luck

Mine was $22,900 plus tax and title with less than 50 miles. I didn't give them a dime, but did let them sell me the maintenance package and the extended 7 year/100K warranty including scheduled maintenance (and 3000 mile oil changes b/c they made a mistake) for $500/month on a 60 month loan. I figure the free oil changes more than pay for the maint/warranty deal, so it's worth it. Dealer couldn't advertise 2005's until he got rid of this one so he took a loss on the deal and wrote it off to advertising expense. I've seen $10K off advertised recently.
I work at a dealership and go to the auction quite often. Not a great deal man! They are running through the auction at $18500-$19000 depending on miles hope that helps. Let me know if you need anymore help
