Which panel to open? Help
His interest was in the SKREEM.
Better info on the roadster top is in the Chrysler Convertible and Supercharger Engine Update book. Hydraulic circuits for the various stages of operation are shown and the causes of various beeps and blinking lights among other things. there may be other reasons for the beeps etc but this is what they say. People with roadsters should try and get one on eBay as they appear to be out of print now.

SKREEM = Sentry Key Remote Entry Module
Your key fob has a non powered 'chip' in it, when the ignition is turned on the SKREEM causes the halo key ring antenna to excite it, then monitors the frequency generated.
If the frequency is correct the SKREEM signals the PCM ( Powertrain Control Module ) that all is well and it may proceed with the complete start procedure.

Just a final update. I realized that this was not a job for someone like me and got a mechanic to replace the module and key ring. The good news is that the cause of my 3-starts and death syndrome was the SKREEM module. My Crossfire starts like a new car. Thanks to all of those who provided helpful inputs, including archive materials and Needswings for selling the module.
