So I get a knock at the door this afternoon and I see this good size package from Chrysler and it says "Touring wear". I open it up and its a nice suitcase with Crossfire detailing, right down to the wheels. I open that up and there's (2) more bags in there, one is a duffle bag and the other is a general purpose bag. I thought this was pretty cool and very unexpected and will get some use as I plan on driving the hell out of the car this summer to Chicago, WV and "The Dragon".

 

man you got what!!! a free set of luggage i think only 1 out of ten get that! geez

 

Maybe its because its my first Chrysler product, I don't know but it sure is nice. I've already loaded up my detailing products in the one bag and it fits nicely in the cargo area. I was going to order the Mopar accessory floor mats, but the parts car didn't have a good pic of them. Does anyone have an opinion on them because the factory ones are a bit "cheap".

 

every Crossfire owner gets a fitted luggage set. Think of it as "the most expensive luggage you ever bought".

 

Yes, my set of luggage arrived today which is about 3 weeks after picking up the car. Very nice touch... I had no idea that this was coming.

If you look on your window sticker it says "touring gear". That's the luggage. I think most of the salesmen don't even know about it, because it gets sent from DC, so they don't tell you about it.
(it's probably a good thing because they'd probably keep it themselves !!!?!)

Well, I've heard that the European versions don't have the luggage. Does it say "touring Gear" on your window sticker? If it does, I'd show them and if they say they don't have any, then twist!

I got mine too about 2 or 3 weeks after I purchased the car. It was a nice surprise. When i was shopping for a '04 I knew it was included. No one mentioned it when I was getting my '05 and thought maybe you had to pay extra if you wanted them with the '05.

Got the luggage a couple of weeks after driving the car home. Nice touch! I never looked on the window sticker. I'd have probably thought that "Touring Gear" was Sixth or "D." Just kidding, folks, just kidding.

 

I actually got mine within 2 weeks of purchase and it aint too shabby.

 

Yes! You may send it directly to Switzerland! Because I definitely have no sticker... pity.

 

If you look inside the wheeled piece, you'll see a metal tag that has a long number on it and says if found to call a phone no. They have that piece of luggage registered to you, so Keep it! I wouldn't want someone's used luggage if I bought a used car! It's bad enough getting a used car!!!! IT'S USED!

 

I just sent my set to a Crossfire member in the UK! I hope he gets it today.

 

I have the floormats with the Chrysler logo and they look real good. The stock ones are kinda thin and these new ones add a nice upscale touch inside.
