Still wind noises
I just had my xf at the dealer to fix the wind noises. But I don't think there's any difference. Although he said he's mounted new seals and fumbled around the small triangle in the front.
In this forum I read from some who let it do as well and came off. Do you remember what has been done?
Thanks.

They can never fixed it so you have to do it yourself. Here's how I fixed mine....go to AutoZone and buy their 1/2 inch insulation and insert it behind the stock rubber insulation. That fixed my door popping and wind noise problem! I've been to the dealership 3 times and they cannot fix it!
Thank you for your advice. As I'm from Europe I have not much access to AuroZone unless I sign up. Therefore I'll check our shops. Now my questions: what insulation did you buy? does it concern stock rubber insulation for the door? did you put it all the way behind the stock insulation or just partly? Is the stock insulation glued?
Thanks
Thanks
Has anyone had luck using the 1/2 inch AutoZone weather strip? If so could you please give details on how you installed it. I mean act like you are explaining it to a six year old!!! Pics would help. I love my 2004 Xfire...but the driver side wind noise is very unsettling. I have taken it two dealers...one...new weather stripping...second one...couldn't find anything wrong and actually suggested that the car had been wrecked. Bottom line...WIND NOISE.
Buy this 1/2 inch weather strip from AutoZone or any store that sells weather strips for cars. If you run your fingers behind the rubber insulation of the window pillars you can feel a gap there which is about the same size as the 1/2 inch weather strip. Just insert the 1/2 inch weather strip to fill the space behind the rubber and that will solve your wind noise problem.
You will never get rained on anymore whenever you drive through a brushless car wash. I hope I explained it as simple as I can. Good luck!
