I saw some other posts that wrote on transmission and issues related. I've had my crossfire in the shop 4-5 times in the last month. Finally found the breather hose set for the related Benz and had to order the signal bulb housing from Bolivia following the manufacturer (stocko valeo) and part number. Now it looks like there is a problem with the transmission or something eerily similar. I'm at wits end and really ready to sell my crossfire though I love it and the attention I get! If anyone is interested we can talk and perhaps work out a superb deal...the body and inside is in superb condition, factory rims customized, tinted beautifully and Id throw in the new speakers and flip screen head unit if price was right...just saying! If not, I'm in Tampa area and I need some suggestions where to go to get the right person to give me a diagnostic and hopefully find a rebuilt tranny for a MT. I really cant afford the upkeep at this point but I'm trying...somebodies HELP! Xfirewhite ghost...trying to post a pic of the car but catching up with tech! Yikes...

 

An MT? If you mean manual transmission - I must say, issues with the manual are unheard of. The only issue was the 04's would pop out of first, but there was a recall fifteen years ago for that.

Not anything we can help you with as you are not telling us what the symptom is.

And the turn signal socket issue is resolved with a dab of solder, no need to replace the part in most cases.

 

My bad... its an automatic trans and it's making a whining ,siren like noise, hesitating and jerking like its missing gears, and the rpm gauge shoots up high arbitrarily my usual mechanic says it's transmission but idk he put the hoses on and I started having issues with it again.
