Unhappy Has anybody had any luck with repairing a scratched windshield?

Not sure how the windshield was scratched = it was like that when I bought it! The scratches are not deep and can't really be felt with a fingernail but they are definitely noticeable being quite large! Are there any tips or tricks to rid my glass of these guys? Thanks in Advance!

by professionally high speed buffing the glass, this will create waves/distort the glass.

your best bet would be to hand polish the glass...via a professional glass company "only".

i have worsened a fine scratch my own house window with an aftermarket glass "so called" light scratch remover. it create even deeper scratches than prior.

hope this helps!

I'm in luck today as the dealer is agreeing to replace it at no charge (the car is only a week old). I'm just scared at what could happen or go wrong as they replace it! They have assured me that all will be as good as new when complete. Has anybody had good luck with a shop replacing their windshield ... (my last search indicated problems occurring). I will let them know to be careful from any suggestions that can be given ... Thanks in advance!
