Default Vehicle Jacking Points

Hello all. I'm going to do my own oil change and I was wondering if anyone knows of a place in the front center of the car where I can safely place a floor jack. My intentions are to raise the vehicle enough to place jack stands at each wheel.

Yes,I use the rear transmission mount point to jacl..
Problem is getting the jack to it.
I first jack up the rear by the differential and place jack stands.
I can then ease the floor jack in from the side to the transmission mount.

Thanks! I didn't see that spot. I'm wondering if this could be a place. Maybe not so challenging to get to?

Could be, I'm not sure how much vertical strength it has.

I was thinking about maybe putting a short piece of 2x4 on the jack running side to side and trying to lift it there. Once I got it up high enough I would then place the jack stands and let the floor jack down in order to get to the two screws for the plastic plate.

Or you could just get a Top sider oil extractor and never have to crawl under the Crossfire again to do an oil change.

I have the MityVac (MV7201) 8L capacity. Works great!

I vote 'topsider'. Gets nearly ALL the old oil out.

On the weekend a guy was at a DIY garage when the car dropped from blocks or whatever and was squashed.
I never heard how he fared from his injuries.
Get a topsider capable of holding more than 8 qts. mine holds 10 liters.

Okay. Thank you. I do not wish to be trapped under the car.

The Crossfire is a natural for topsiders because you can also change the oil filter from on top.!

I didn't think about that. But, yes, I can see how there's no reason to climb underneath it if you don't have to. I looked around and eventually bought one on Amazon. Thanks for the help! 👍
