New Seats
I am a new 06 Crossfire Coupe owner. My coupe has the base fabric seats. I am not a huge fan of the comfort of the seats and I was wondering if the Mercedes version of the Crossfire has seats that are interchangeable with the Crossfire's? And if so are they any more comfortable? Thanks in advance for any help.

Swaps with the SLK320 have been done. Look at threads in the 'Interior" forum for details, this forum is for Coupe specific issues, seats are the same in Coupe and Roadster.

I disagree with your comment above, but you are entitled to your opinion.
I hated them, you sit "on" them not "in" them. The base seats are real seats, and having the extra 2 or more inches of head room helps lower my eyes so they are below the windshield frame.
I've not had backaches from driving the car for four hours at at time since I got the SE. Both limited were hard on my back, probably because I was hunched over/slumped in the seat to see below the upper windshield frame.
Those limited seats are as big of a mistake as hiring Celine Dion to do the ads for the car.
I agree with Pizzaguy. Seats in the Limited suck for trips more than a few hours. If I didn't love my cedar interior so much I would trade them out for a pair of base seats. Meanwhile, I choose my Challenger for long trips. Great seats.
Thanks. I'm glad I didn't decide to put new leather on my seats. Seems a lot of people agree that they are not comfortable. I'm going to just find seats from something else and put them in my Crossfire.
I can’t speak to base seats but I have 2 SRTs and a limited and I find the limited seats more comfortable for the long ride. Having said that I think comfort is way too subjective to make blanket statements. We come in many shapes and sizes and have different ideas of comfort. If every one liked the same things in life there would only be one of everything and that would be boring.
