Seeing as we are being invention Napasanaoma I have an idea. Preset button on the door mirrors that flicks them down so they pick up the back wheels - I can just see the drivers side rear, passenger side I have to stretch a little, found out when I had to back into a space on a road side with high curbs and on a curve in the dark last week.

There is a place in Atlanta called Wheel Right that repaired a badly bent and scratched Corvette rim that I had messed up. A blow out on the interstate with no place to pull over. The tire actually came completely off the rim before I could get stopped.

The scratches are small and I will probably trade car in this spring anyway.

Good news -
On Sunday afternoon, I checked up on the Crossfire. I entered the garage and pulled the car cover off of it, and discovered it as glossy and ding-free as the day I drove it in. After inspecting the car a little, I pulled the battery and took it in the house so that it will remain warm all winter long. I felt relieved that the car was as intact as it was the day I put it away, and am satisfied that the Grand Am owner parking next to it is absolutely careful around it. However, I felt somewhat deflated when I went out that same afternoon to run errands in my Escort in the slush. It's going to be a long, hard winter.
