Oh man...those pictures are gut wrenching. Glad you are ok but the car looks like it may be a goner...makes me sick just to look at it.

I'm glad your ok, accidents suck for sure but to me anyways, it doesn't look totaled but then again, we can't see underneath the car. What will you get to replace it?

Keep me informed if the insurance company totals the car and parts it... I'd like to see what I can scavenge from it...

My xfire had the same damage as yours and it wasn't totaled. It is still in the shop for repair after two month. Should be done in a few days. See my gallery for photos. About $11k TO FIX IT. All new parts. All the bent parts could be removed and replaced.

i wish someone would hit me and total my car. Love it to death, but I want to buy a house in a year or so, and it would be nice to not have monthly payment. I'd save a lot $$$ for $265 a month you can lease a limited now and average almost 1,500 miles a month.

Sad to see your car hit...
After observing a couple of crashed Crossfires both on this site and in person, I have just noticed that everytime the passenger's airbag goes off, the windshield gets heavily damaged (probably from the dashboard flap nailing the glass at very high speeds). My question is, well, is this a design flaw?

Here you go. Lots of leases for cheap, some better than others, but for $265 a month, and almost 1,500 miles a month driving "allowance" nice deal. And since they are take over/remainders, you can get into something newer quicker.

Design flaw? That's something the insurance companies have to deal with and pay for and argue with the mfg... I just want to know if the car is totaled so I can buy the engine and components from the wrecking yard...

With all due respect, I'm happy you're OK... But I'm looking for an extra engine and drive train...

Scutt - You know what, if the insurance company (the person's insurance company that hit you) does not total the car you can get much $$$$money$$$ for"Diminished Value." But you got to let his/her insurance company know you are asking for it. It's good money so don't forget to ask, and don't let his/her insurance company tell you they don't pay Diminished Value.

FYI, hooah?
