Insurance Premiums up?
$115 here for full coverage on my Crossfire and '06 Mustang GT; and standard insurance on my 911 (seldom driven). I'm happy with Farmer's and hated Allstate!
Allstate will screw you if you have a good record and are paying less!
I have an accident in a very tight parking lot when I was backing up (Mustang GT) when this cheap Neon squeezed itself behind me. I have a witness and my witness told me that the Neon driver didn't see me. The driver claimed damages on her car plus injury and Allstate paid it without investigating or even calling my witness! After that they raised my premium from $98 to $300!
Allstate just wants to rip off it's clients if they have a good record and are paying less!

Gee Thanks Cyril. I hope you raised heck with your agent. I'd suggest you call a claims manager about this right away. Parking lot accidents are the worst accidents to mediate. Some states actually have backing laws, Texas may be one and it may not have anything to do with our claims ruling. That said I'd be pissed too but you need to open your mouth to Allstate claims and perhaps even file a complaint with the insurance commissioner in your state. There is NO excuse for Allstate just paying the claim and not talking to you. We have to talk to both parties. I never let that be the case with my clients. Cyril PM me if you want some help with this.
Ok as promised Allstate uses something called a PGS symbol to signify where a car is accident rated. I don't make these up so please bear with me. The closer you get to "A" the higher the cost to insure that particular vehicle. Remember there is a ton of other stuff that goes into making up your final premium.
Crossfire - I
Acura RSX type S - R
Toyota Camry - Q
BMW 325I - I
Ford Explorer - G
Mercedes 560SL - C
BMW 330ci - C
Porsche Cayenne - C
Cars may vary a bit by year and model but this gives you a general idea where our car falls, we are in the top 10. I'll post more here when I have time. I'm looking for an Audi TT.

Woodlands - My Crossfire is more expensive to insure than my GT Cruiser and my PT Ltd Edition were. I pay just under $90 a month to insure it.
