Guys, as i said in the main thread, i'm going to try and leave the DC area at noon on Friday, so i should be in Pittsburgh by 3:30/4:00 pm and Cleveland by 6 or so. If anyone up there wants to met up then, send me a private message and we can make arrangement.

 

FYI,

I have registered my stay at the Courtyard from Aug.17 to the 19...all the single rooms were taken and got stuck with a double...I know this might sound strange especially since we all don't know each other well but if anyone is interested in sharing a room let me know...otherwise I can always fill the room with some hotties (females).

 

I'm glad you clarified the fact that the hotties would be a girls. In fact get the girls, and I'll share the room with you. J.K.

 

Raulito - did you mention the Club? We're supposed to have 11 rooms blocked all w/king beds, etc. Let me know if you mentioned the club or not so I'll know whether or not to call the Courtyard.

RPM, I was quoted $104. per night, until I had them check with their manager. They have corrected this to $94. Just an FYI for all to make sure you get the right rate.

 

I did mention the club...maybe I should ask for the manager.

 

RPM...I think you need to call the Courtyard, just finished getting off the phone and looks like the 11 rooms that where blocked were not all single king size beds...let me know if you were able to make any changes so that I can have my room changed to a single...as for the hotties, I guess we will just have to share one bed...sorry FP no room for you and I'm sure your wife wants to keep you all to herself that weekend.

 

Raulito - you might want to give them a call back. I just spoke to the 'event coordinator' and ironed some things out. Here goes:
We now have 15 rooms blocked for Friday 8/17 and Saturday 8/18 (4 more King rooms @ $94/night were just added).
Originally we had 11 blocked and it appears it was somewhat of a split between the 2 different types of rooms (king bed vs. double beds).

Looks like so far we have 7 reservations for Friday night and 6 for Saturday night.

If you are going to make reservations, you can call 1-800-321-2211. Mention the 'Chrysler Crossfire International' Club to be added to the group for the $94/$104 rate and perks.

This was harbor's last post (from the thread '2007 Xfire'). I'm guessing Woodward is out for him - anyone know for sure? I tried to PM him, but it didn't work.

 

RPM; That's too bad, hopefully he'll change his mind and show up with the new '07!!
Can't say that I disagree with his reason for leaving but I also understand that's what a forum is all about... the good and the not so good. That why I grew an extra layer of skin since joining...

 

I hope he was just joking or upset at the time. Hopefully he will come around and plan on still attending this event. I will still be bringing my '07 xf which should be arriving here soon!!!
