I want to know why SilverFox expects everyone to drive to the Dragon, but he won't drive to Detroit!

He said if Woodward were a "Crossfire Driving Event" he would drive up.
But considering we are only going short distances and primarily parked more of the time he just wants to fly in and meet and greet and hang with the others. It's cool. Valk

What would People do if they All Flew to the Dragon for 3 Days?
It's a 3 Day intense Driving Experience!

(I don't expect anyone to do anything, they can Ship their cars if they want to, or Fly & rent a Car like UK ken is doing.)

I'm going to Woodward, but it's a Mostly Walking/Standing Event, Not Driving.
It's My Business how I get there, at least I'm going to Woodward.

Hmmmm......let me think, Go to the Dragon (which happens multiple times a year), or go to the Ferrari factory in Maranello and get paid to do it.

I guess I don't have to think too long about that one!

Hum I wonder which one i would pick Plus IMHO the weather is always iffy in early April or fall for that matter for anyone coming from the North. Bill, Michigan has some wonderful two lane roads. I'm sure we can find time during the weekend for a nice ride.....I promise you won't be dissappointed and you shouldn't have any problems hanging with to a couple of NA XFs

Everyone is picking on Bill because we're jealous that he got the LAST 06 SRT-6 ever! I know I'm jealous.

OK for whats is worth:

I'm the offical voice of MOM here-

1. A club is where people come to be with friends, are liked and can relax.
2. Your point of view is just that, if it's not nice KEEP it to yourself.
3 Again if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything.
4. Not everyone shares your sense of humor or is in the same mood as you when they read your post.
5. Written words never NEVER are read the way you think they will be.
(now I'm being an idiot since I'm writing this)

So children what did we learn today?
Don't throw sand, somewhere there's cat poo in the sandbox and sure as can be, it will be dug up and flung at you. In other words, play nice so you don't earn a negative reputation with your club.

Now how many people who say the might attend are going to come to the WWDC? I'm having a devil of a time trying to make arrangements if you don't tell me.

OK mom................
Can Bill come out and play now?

BTW, using emo's should help set the stage if you're just having fun. All, please use them, as the words alone do not always demonstrate the spirit of the word. That's the FP law of writing.

Yes I agree.
I am actively involved working along with Ann here to be assured we have the amount of parking space we will need etc.
Look at the post #293. If you are on it and not attending or listed as a maybe then please let ME know.
I know things come up and it is nearly 4 months away still but we really need to know where we stand at this point in our planning.
If you are not yet committed please give some serious thought to coming or not.
Parking is something that is hard to come by already and if we need additional space we will need to reserve this very soon.

Also you should be booking your room by now at the Marriott.
All links are provided in post #294.
After booking a room send me a PM so I can track rooms reserved.
We have a block of 20 and only 9 have been booked.
If we need more than 20 rooms we need to book all the remaining rooms reserved first.
As we get closer to the event we will most likely not be able to hold more rooms for our group rate.
The hotel may even be full and not accepting any more reservations.
This event draws a lot of folks from out of town and hotels fill up quickly.

Thanks everyone, Gary

I know that this is not the thread to delve into this comment but did you know that Chrysler, in conjunction with Karmen dug out one last Supercharged Motor and produced a commemorative 2008 SRT-6; does anyone know where that Xfire ended up?
(Europe or North America?)
