IMO it should go to the Karmann Museum. That's usually where last production run model end up.

Oh ya, their missunderstood-I forgot!
One day they will be great adults, but I'll so worn down by then I won't even realize..........no wonder I love our XF so much.
It's true, honest and loyal. It won't stay out too late and worrie me. It won't hang around with questionable cars like an AMC Javlin, a Pinto or a stinking old Stratus. It will wait for us no matter how long we are gone then turn over with joy, not complain that there wasn't anything to do while we were gone. It won't go out with a black top and come back a pink top and then wonder why I'm steamed that there's dye all over the towels. It won't turn it's radio on to a station that sounds like I'm getting my teeth drilled on. It smells good all of the time and is peaceful. It has real leather and when people turn to stare it's a good thing. It isn't loud at the wrong times. It does everything it's supposted to do. When we buy special things for it it uses them correctly and with pleasure. And when you add it all up having a Xf costs less, way less, than a child. What were we thinking?????
I could of had 3 XFs.........I'm lost in thought "one yellow, one blue and lets see a coupe, a roadster and an SRT.
I could have a coupe painted yellow too. Could the third one be a Viper? Wouldn't that be like if one of the kids went to medical school? Doctor - Viper - Doctor - Viper.....oh wow"

Ann,
A interesting read for sure "cars vs. kids".
Your kids look great.
Maybe they all will own Crossfires someday.

Valk, could you add my wife and myself to the Woodward Cruise In maybe list? I sent you an email also. I will know in a couple of weeks if I am stuck with the beeper from work. We live in Harrod, Ohio, near Lima, so we will be coming up I-75 on Friday and would like to hook up with other Crossfires on the way up if possible.

We are looking forward to it, Allan and Kellie

Sounds like this could be fun. I may have to try and make the trip up, there are a few people I would love to meet in person.

Hope you can come. It's a lot of fun and the people are really nice. It's a great opportunity to meet others here and see some terrific cars at the rolling show on Woodward.

Gary,

Are most Crossfire WDC Attendees staying at the Hotel?

How many are Drive in Onlys?

Looking forward to coming & Seeing the Big Show for the first time & meeting everyone!

Thanks!
Bill

I only track rooms booked as members make a reservation and notify me.
Others here I suspect will be staying at the hotel and have not yet made a reservation.
Don't really know how it all will wind up til the date of the event.
I have encouraged everyone needing a room to book now but some wait and I can't assure them a room later.
I can't get any more rooms on hold until the 20 currently on hold are all booked.

Not having been a Marine myself I guess I run this thread more loosely than your Dragon thread. lol

The ones Not staying at the Hotel will miss out a lot, but I don't have to tell you or anyone that was at the Spring/Fall Dragons about that!

I could have driven home every night, but I would have missed so much Fun back at the Lodge!

(Just my 2 cents worth. )

Gary, BTW, for Not being a Marine, you "Run a Pretty Tight Ship"! SF

Well first of all thanks for the compliment.

Secondly...It is a fact that the hotel stay does add to the overall weekend.
A lot of visiting and drinking and some good laughs are had late into the night for those who stay at the hotel and choose to participate.
I was the last one to bed both nights at the Fontana lodge at the Dragon.
Just didn't want to go to sleep and miss out on anything.
