Thanks for keeping the posts up so we know who is attending. From what I remember it seemed that the members who stayed at the hotel were pleased and wanted to stay there this year. It's up to you all, I have my own "room" as it were
Tavern on 13 (Friday night 07) and The Moose Preserve (Sat. eve 07) can be used again or we can consider other places/foods, again it's up to the group. Personally I like any place with good beer, martinis and food.
So long as you use the roads west or east of Woodward, the 13 and Woodward area is no more of a problem than any other location that day. I still have the directions/local roads info sheet from last year I can send out.

 

I am fine with the same places again. I thought the hotel was great.
We all parked are Crossfires together in back and they had the breakfast each morning where we could meet so I vote for the same hotel. No matter what the final plan becomes if the weather is good the weekend will be a success.

 

I'm in favor of staying at the same hotel as last year........seemed to be a good place.

Is there any chance that someone in Michigan could contact them and get a group rate for us. Also, I can't remember the hotel name and address.


Tavern on 13 Friday night would be good.......I seem to know that parking lot like the back of my hand (no more slalom racing around the lot this time.........what was I thinking?)

Moose Preserve would be fine for Saturday night but let's make sure that everyone knows where we are going............could someone prepare instructions for both the Friday and Saturday night. We missed Saturday night dinner because we had no idea where we were going and ended up following the wrong Xfire that was heading out of town to northern Michigan.

Ryan sent the directions page out with the list of phone numbers. He can again this year, it's a wealth of information. Someone send me the name of the hotel and I"ll start working on them for a package (car washing, meals, rooms, gas, well maybe not the gas or meals)

 

I just spoke with SENNA (Dave) and he said he is in !!!
I have added him to the growing list.

 

I have the name of the hotel at home but it is not doing me much good here in Arizona.
I even have the name of the Church Lady written down. I guess I missed those instructions you are referring to.

The hotel we stayed at in 2007 was."COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT AUBURN" 1296Opdyke Rd.Auburn hills Mi. 48326 US. I donot have the phone number at my finger tips??. Lorne

 

For any of the new people coming even though the address is Opdyke Rd you actually have to turn onto Aimee Ln to get to the hotel. Great place to stay and I really enjoyed sitting and talking with everyone in the lobby in the evenings with all the beer that Gary supplied. Can't wait!!!

Not yet , it's to soon. I am sure the Michigan folks coordinating this meet will let us know when we should start booking rooms and submitting payment for parking spots etc.
