Do you have a Crossfire & a bike? What is the info on your Crossfire, so I can list it?
See you there!

This is the only current correct spot for it, at this time, I believe.l
And thanks, yes, I definitely plan to attend next year......I have tried every way in the world to make it this year but it just isn't going to work. You folks have a great time and take lots of pics.

I'm able to see it, get the information I need to participate, and make plans from there. I'm not trying to make waves, just think get-togethers fit much better in the regional sections where they occur.
Roadsters & SRTs are not excluded from the "Coupe Section", this is Not a Roadster or SRT Specific Event, it is for All Crossfires.
Next year, we will put it, wherever, everyone wants it.
Again see you next year, wish you could have made this one!

SilverFox, I was just wondering if anybody has notified KillBoy.com about us coming next weekend?
We're not listed on their calendar.
Are we going to try and slip in unnoticed?

Yay! I have a very small dent on my trunk lid...maybe he can smooth that out quickly and cheaply for me while we all chat, LOL! Yeah right, I'm sure we'll all be driving. Good thought though...he is coming?

OK I watched the video in horror! The key is smoothness and this driver was anything but smooth and took some real high risk chances during his drive...I hope no one will be doing this next weekend...not that I'm against performance driving (Bondurant School 1976 Alumni) but this video shows some people for what they are. Glad I didn't buy that rental XF unit, LOL!
Please let's all be safe, not drive above our individual skill levels and for Pete's sake let's not kill anyone this first trip out! Hopefully the locals will want us back again next year.

Yes Jeff, killboy does a great action photo job on the Dragon, his Dragon photos have been featured in several of the leading national car mags.
Everyone who comes to the Dragon will be able to order several photos of their XF in Action, from killboy.com, like the pics below.
Bill (SF)
BTW The "New" SilverFox was featured (See below Photos) on his 7-25-07 Blog as: "Dead Sexy Chrysler" (Killboy's blog,The Dragon 7-25-07) (That's what he called the Fox on 7-22) http://killboy.blogspot.com/

It's 5:00 P.M. and I just made reservations at the Fontana Lodge for next Friday and Saturday, and they still have rooms left. (In case anybody is interested).
I hope to be there for the 3:00 P.M. hook up on Friday.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for good weather, and I hope the dealer doesn't screw up anything on my car next Wed. when I get my schedule B done.

Also I went to the Dragon today, (1 hr, 5 min & 59 miles from my house). The "Top-Down" Weather was Fantastic, Mid 60's, Sunny, Peak Color & light traffic for a Sat at 3PM, also checked out the Fontana Village/Lodge & Fontana Dam (1.5 miles away) BTW the Village was built just for the construction workers of the Dam. It's all a Lovely Area, roads perfect, Fall color Great(Late this yr), air fresh, mountain roads invigorating! What a Beautiful area to Live & have a Crossfire.
The Weather forecast so far is Super:
Fri Nov 09
Sat Nov 10
Sun Nov 11
You can't get better than that for 11/10 & Late Peak Color Also, WOW!
I'll be at the Dragon for the 3PM Hook-up on Friday @ the Fontana Village Grill Resturant Parking lot. (There were 50 Mini-coopers in it this afternoon).
See y'all at the Dragon in 5 days!

Bill, Great Job on the schedule. Looks like there are plenty of planned
activities. Though my wife and I (and the Crossfire, of course) will be
arriving at the dam around 10 - 10:30 am, as we drive up from Atlanta,
and won't be able to participate in Friday's event, we are definitely
looking forward to meeting everyone at the dam, and taking a Crossfire
Cruise through the Dragon with you guys. We may, or may not do lunch,
as we plan to drive back to Atlanta during the afternoon. Nothing against
you guys, but I really prefer to sleep in my own bed.
See you on Saturday. Just look for the coupe with the "Coyote6" license
plate!
